I can’t say enough good things about this place! Great people, food, and atmosphere! I recommend the Louisiana Quesadillas and the North Carolina. The sweet potato chips were great also. Definitely will be back!

Had lunch here today. Nice place good usage of an old building the people running it are extremely friendly. Service was fast the place has a cozy welcoming feel. And something that I really like that they’re doing is offering entertainment like live music and karaoke something mountain City desperately needs something to do that’s fun. My only real gripe is the menu is very basic but it’s all good the food was definitely worth it.

I was told about Local’s by a friend of mine who lives across the mountain. I’ve been multiple times now and I’ve enjoyed the food every time. The owners are great, the staff are friendly and professional, and the food is all good. I especially like the chicken quesadilla with bell pepper, jalapeno, and onion (it’s a custom made order, and they absolutely nail it every time). If you’re in town, and they’re open, come in and get something to eat!

It’s so nice to have this cute deli right in the middle of our quaint little town, Mountain City. The food is great, the owner greets you with a smile, employees are kind and accommodating. The decor has that vintage style reminiscent of the past. It’s a great place to meet or have a sandwich alone with a book. Highly recommend!

What a great find in Downtown Mountain City, Tenn. A simple place with a great menu. I had the “Lucy” – a sun dried wrap with lettuce, tomatoes, banana peppers. Provolone, lite mayo, and bacon. My wife had a “Bonnie” – a 3 cheese, tomatoes, and bacon. Ordered a side of homemade macaroni salad.
