Having dined at this location on several occasions I have found the food to always be top shelf. Fresh, high quality and amazingly flavorful. Their roasted turkey is off-the-chart delicious, roast beef superb and the side items did not come from a can. Everything is fresh made and it is difficult to go wrong. Oh yeah, the cajun snapper is something to try as well.
The staff is friendly, knowledgable and professional. Also, believers. This is a family owned and operated business and the staff have been together with Joe for many years. Julia is credit to the company. She is so sweet and cares about the customers in a way that makes you want to come back. She is surrounded by the same caliber of people as herself. Caring, professional and knowledgeable of what is happening and if they don’t know, they know where to get the answer…Julia.
We ordered one of the turkeys, hams and a quart of gravy for our family Christmas gathering. On the day I was to pick up, I arrived at the appointed time, but….the order was not ready. The order was not done at all. The good news is the whole thing was handled in a way that made me write this review. Not only was everything prepared as described and arrived in a timely manner BEFORE the Christmas gathering started, they brought us a delicious fudge pie for the inconvenience. The pie was outstanding, one of the best fudge pies I ever eaten. The gravy is something like I’ve never had before. The flavor, texture and consistency was unlike any gravy. I wanted to just eat it as a side item!! Oh, the turkey and ham were, literally, right out of the oven when they were delivered. They were so hot when I was slicing them steam was pouring out and it was extremely hot to the touch!!
Do yourself and your family a huge favor and try Local Joes. If you to have one of the best, if not the best, ham and turkey you have served on Thanksgiving or Christmas let Joe and his team prepare it for you. I assure you will not be disappointed. It is truly a pleasure to serve this food at our house and I love going there after church or to meet with my friends for leisurely lunch.

The food was delicious! If you love fish and they have the Grouper when you’re there-get it! Local Joes is cafeteria style so grab a tray and utensils. The ladies on the line greeted us with smiles and were constantly refreshing the food. It was our first time, but not our last.

The staff was friendly and courteous. Greeted with a smile as soon as you walk in. 1st time here and a young lady greeted me and told me how it works. I will be back since my daughter cheers a couple of doors down and we are here 2-3 times a week. Everything was great.

HOLY SMOKES this place is fantastic! From the moment you walk in, you feel the warmth of the staff and the comfort of the food – it’s palpable. Everyone is so kind, the food is delicious, large portions (didn’t stop me from licking my plate clean), and the free cookie at the end made me have to go back for dessert. 5 stars!! Worth your business! They also employ specially gifted young adults, which speaks to the integrity of the owners. Welcome back Joe and team!!

I stopped in for lunch today and had the baked chicken with stuffing—it was excellent! The meal felt like real home cookin’, comforting and flavorful. The portion size was just right, and everything tasted fresh. Local Joes has that cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back. Definitely a spot I’ll return to when I’m craving a hearty, homemade-style meal!
