Warm and friendly greeting right away with several smiles. The sweet lady taking our orders pointed at the menus and said take a look and let me know if you have any questions. When she took our order she asked the size, hot or iced AND even went over the milk that was in it. Very thorough cause I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ordered something off the menu at other places and completely spaced to say iced or change the milk to oat.
We got 3 Drinks, the Strawberry Matcha, the French Toast Latte and the Audrey Hepburn Latte all in Larges and iced. Lattes with Oatmilk and the Matcha in whole milk. Everything tasted DEVINE. Strong quality taste of matcha and coffee. The flavors profiles were there all around. We will definitely be back. Mahalo plenty! Appreciate a place that serves up quality, customer service and consistency.

What a great place! The service was outstanding—very friendly and inviting. It made my day that the barista put a cute design on my coffee . The bagel was good but next time the other food options look so much better. Great atmosphere!

Local Joe is everything a neighborhood coffee shop should be—great coffee, welcoming energy, and people who genuinely care. The drinks are consistently on point, the space feels inviting, and it’s the kind of place you actually want to stay awhile. Absolute staple.

My bestie and I love coming here for that low-key coffee shop vibe. Staff is very friendly and patient when asked about dietary needs/restrictions. There are lots of syrup flavors and they have specialty creations which are always fun to try. The bakery they get their banana bread from is AWESOME be sure to ask to have the bread heated longer to get that warm just baked feel with a slight crisp to the outside of it. Lots of outdoor patio seating and limited but nice indoor seating. Free wifi too.

Local Joe West is a fantastic coffee shop that consistently delivers high-quality drinks at incredibly reasonable prices. The taste of the coffee and specialty drinks is always on point, they clearly know their craft, and the value you get here is genuinely hard to beat, especially compared to other local spots. If you’re focusing purely on the quality and cost of your morning cup, this place deserves five stars.
The main caveat is the spatial reality: the area is quite cramped. The seating is very limited and feels squeezed into the space, making the atmosphere a little utilitarian and awkward. If you’re planning to come in, grab your drink, and leave, you’ll be perfectly happy. However, if you’re hoping to settle in for a relaxed work session or a long chat, the tight quarters can definitely be frustrating. It’s a great spot, just built for speed, not for lingering!

Stopped in here today for coffee and a snack. They were out of cold brew so I got an iced double espresso and the vegan burrito. The espresso packed a punch and the burrito was loaded with fresh ingredients and came with a layered salsa and guac on the side! Both baristas were friendly and welcoming! There is seating inside and out, plenty of parking and everything was fair priced and clean. If you’re a hot coffee person, they have diy latte art option!

This place was great! The coffee was even better! The guava strudel is so good! Good vibes and a cool place to grab coffee that isn’t loaded with people and cars! Highly recommend!

Typical coffee shop atmosphere, but a really good shop, love the drinks, definitely worth coming, 18 dollars for 2 drinks and mango bread is well cheap for today’s society and there prices are well within manageable, the majority bread was approximately 7 inches in length and 4 inches wide, large enough price for 5 bucks, well worth tipping too, the service was friendly and they were adamant on serving everyone who came in, the same friendly tones and demeanor. Highly recommended.

Personally I think the coffee here is a little overpriced, I’ve been to other coffee shops that have similar drinks for a smaller price tag. I paid more than $6 for a small ‘Audrey hepburn’ iced coffee with no upgrades just got the normal milk. I got the coffee half sweet and it was still too sweet for my liking (but that is just personal preference). I assume the high price tag for the coffee has to be because of high rent prices ♀️ My husband got a double shot coffee and we also got one cold caramel apple pastry since all of the other pastries were sold out. Should have asked the price of the pastry because it had to be at least $5/$6 because our total was just under $16. The caramel apple pastry was cold and too sweet for both me and my husband. While the workers were nice, I’m not sure we’d return due to the lack of parking available. You have to find street parking since it is located in a residential area and there is no dedicated parking lot for the coffee shop. If you’re lucky there’s maybe two spots right in front of the coffee shop on the curb but after that there’s a “no parking anytime” sign.
