Our flight was delayed, leaving us enough time to eat dinner before boarding. We didn’t want to venture too far from our gate and this was one of two close restaurants with table seating. The restaurant had a fun vibe and offered enough tables for a small crowd with some bar seating as well.
We ordered 2 pork nachos and a portobello mushroom burger. The food was good. The nachos could have used more topping to nacho ratio as both dishes had left over chips with no toppings. The mushroom sandwich was delicious, but the mushroom was thin and not very meaty, so the bun to topping ratio was heavy on the bun and didn’t leave me filled.
Overall the taste was good, service was great, and the timing of ordering food to the time it was on the table wasn’t too long. I would have preferred more substance with our meals (more pork and toppings with the chips, a larger mushroom with the portobello sandwich).
I’d still recommend the food here though. The prices weren’t too overpriced and pretty standard for airport food.

Bartender extremely rude when trying to obtain food allergy information. Female waitress made fun of me for calling first to ask. I was trying to help my son find safe foods because he was going into hypoglycemia. As my son was leaving, he said “you could be nicer to people.” The bartender replied, “I was nice, I saved your life.”

Don’t settle for boring airport food! Local Craft offers a fantastic menu with unique Pittsburgh-inspired options, especially their gourmet sandwiches. I devoured a delicious sandwich called the Pittsburgh Cuban that was a highlight. Their Bloody Mary was also excellent. Highly recommend for a tasty pre-flight meal!

I’m a frequent flyer out of Pittsburgh. I enjoy starting my trip with a visit to the 412 local. I’m often served by Cindy and others, all of whom are very welcoming and friendly every time. I think the food is some of the best at the airport. Looking forward to my next visit!

For an airport offering this place is great! Sandwiches and other offerings all look good. I had the TriRivers Dip and mac n’ cheese (subbed for included chips +$3). Sandwich was good, mac n’ cheese was excellent! Beer is good and cold, too!

The worst bartender ( his name is T) asked for water ..no water…asked for a menu ..no menu..had my drink and my water sitting there ..ran to the bathroom ( could not tell him cause he vanished) came back and he thru away my drink. I said something and Nothing!! Not a sorry, not a new drink ..nothing..wow
