My bartenders are better than yours
I love my quaint little town and this is an Amazing restaurant. Not a time have I walked in and wasn’t greeted. Close to home so it makes it even better, so I can ride my bicycle. And the adjacent businesses makes it convenient to do local/small business shopping also.

Visited for the first time yesterday, which was taco Tuesday. The taco special is a pretty good deal. My friend and I each ordered three tacos, street corn, and shared guacamole. The guacamole was great! Nice serving size, fresh, and good flavor. We also liked the self serve chips.
Service was lacking a bit. It seemed that our server couldn’t keep up with everyone but was doing her best, however that doesn’t make it any less aggravating when things take forever and your glass is sitting empty…especially when your mouth is on fire.
The tacos were ok, but were very oily and hard to eat. If they weren’t dripping with oil, they would’ve been much better. Didn’t care for the street corn. It looked good but was dry and lacked flavor. It definitely needs some crema…street corn should have some crema, and some flavor from lime!
While I wasn’t overwhelmed, I wasn’t underwhelmed either. I’d probably stop in again but try something different, and hope for better service!

Finally got to try their brunch!!! We got the cheese curds and they’re amazing! They come with poblano ranch and it’s very delicious. I got the horchata French toast and the after party taco. I’m not going to lie. The French toast was a little underwhelming from the looks of it but it was actually really good. Never thought I would describe French toast as melting in your mouth but that’s what I experienced. The After party taco is one of my favorites that they’ve ever had. It’s the Nashville Hot Chicken, bacon, maple syrup on an Eggo waffle. My husband got the taco and the Super Trooper breakfast burrito. It has eggs, refried beans, chorizo, breakfast potatoes, monterey jack cheese, chipotle maple aioli. He subbed the pinto beans with black beans; he did not care for the burrito.

Tacos are super good! As well as the margaritas!! We went for lunch! Definitely will go back! Lady was super busy when we came in as it was just her. And she did amazing! She was so sweet and helped whenever we needed help! We went in on Feb 11 around 3 pm!! I wish I had remembered her name she was great! ❤️place is super cute as well!

My fiance and I dine here at least once a month as it is our favorite go-to for satisfying taco cravings. Last night 2/18/26 we came here after poor service at Plates and Pints across the street. I already left a review for them and decided Local Cantina needs one too…a much more positive one. It was fairly busy for Wednesday night and the bartender seemed swamped, but his service is efficient and organized. My fiance usually gets his Carne asada tacos wheeze style and I had gotten the Mac attack tacos since I was still wanting some sort of fried chicken that I didn’t get at Plates and Pints. They hit the spot! We usually see the same employees here nearly every visit which says something positive about how this restaurant is managed.

Only reason I give the food a 4 out of 5 stars is bc Og. I ordered a chicken taco salad and they gave me beef by mistake. I also have to say the customer service was OUTSTANDING! The manager I spoke to was so kind , friendly , helpful , and willing to remake my food with no hesitation. I appreciate the Excellent customer service and the professional way the situation was handled. Thank you

Terrible location, even worse building plan. Super limited parking. The main entrance is through a boutique or some shit instead of by the main road like normal and no signs to direct you, we walked in the (what we thought was the front) door and was essentially sitting on a dudes lap. Useless for families with babies. Good for them that they were packed on a Tuesday night, but not good for us. Never got seated to try the food or service. Bummer.

This place is very inviting. Went there to celebrate a birthday. I am not a fan of Mexican food, but this place has great food and a fun atmosphere. The decor is very colorful. I’ll go back when the patio opens up!
