Very fresh and delicious foods

We walked in without reservation on a long weekend but they were able to host us in a table. We read the most of reviews before we come in and we didn’t regret a bit at the first bite of food.

We had fish and chicken(fried). It has been a while that it exceed our expectation of food quality. Especially in a remote town, this kind of restaurant is hard to come by. I would rate 1000 of 100 rating for the food. Their mocktail was nice, and a local beer was surprisingly nice as well. The desert the server recommended was one of a kind of desert. (Peach with wallnut crush, wipped cream)

For the service, everything was speedy and correct. Very friendly staffs.

Atmosphere wise, it’s also lovely and medium level of noise for the conversation. I think that keeps our convo. private.

Thankn you all staff and chefs. It’s been truly surprising.

The food was excellent. I had the steak which was delicious, my partner had the short rib special and we shared a squash starter with whipped burrata. It was all delicious. We also had our 3 year old with us and the staff were so accommodating for him. They had a high chair and gave him colouring books and crayons and he had plain pasta from the kids menu. Would highly recommend

We hired Local 111, and Chef Jo’s team to cater our wedding at Basilica Hudson in November 2025. We had such a wonderful experience with them. We were able to tailor the menu to us as a couple, highlighting flavor profiles, cuisines, and cultures that were important to us and our families. They came up with a very creative menu, adapted it to many different dietary restrictions, and executed it with apparent ease for a wedding of 200+ guests. Everyone still raves about the salad and the menu of traditional Persian and Mediterranean veggie-forward cuisine that we chose.

We cannot say enough amazing things about Chef Jo and her team. From the very first meeting, she took the time to truly get to know us, our story, our favorite foods, and where we got engaged. She crafted a menu that felt deeply personal and completely unforgettable. Our tasting was incredible, and in the most thoughtful gesture, she surprised us with a bottle of French wine after hearing our proposal story. It is moments like that that show how much she genuinely cares about her couples.

Chef Jo is wonderfully down to earth, but her food is anything but ordinary. Every dish strikes the perfect balance: elevated enough to impress our foodie guests, yet familiar and comforting for those with simpler palates. It is rare to find someone who can do both so effortlessly.

Truly a 10 out of 10 experience. If you are looking for a caterer who brings heart, creativity, and unbelievable flavor to your wedding, look no further than Chef Jo.

I had super high hopes and was so excited to try this restaurant after seeing the owner on beat Bobby Flay. The restaurant is super cute inside and all of the staff was really friendly and welcoming. Sadly the food was very average and underwhelming. The bread had a very strange alcohol vanilla taste. that’s the best I can describe it… lol The mixed green salad was picture perfect but tasted like grass I cut from my back yard with a hint of cilantro. If you’re going to get anything try the fried chicken! It was very flavorful and the chicken was juicy. The fish chowder was far from a chowder. More like a piece of fish in a small bed of cream sauce with uncooked celery pieces. I am beyond disappointed but you don’t know unless you try.

So impressed! Chef is very talented, every bite is so memorable, there is nothing unremarkable about every dish. The cauliflower appetizer was so unique, deep fried cauliflower (but not oily at all) with crispy halumi cheese is to die for. Each of us had the pork belly, short ribs, steak and burger respectively. So so good, beyond words. Service was excellent too. Small place so making reservation ahead will help.

Tourist trap!!!! Avoid! The experience can be summed up in three words: overpriced, mediocre, and frustrating. The food is lackluster at best, and the mandatory 20% service tip feels like a slap in the face when you receive such poor service.

If you’re considering dining here, I urge you to think twice. This place is nothing more than a tourist trap, riding on hype that likely comes from paid publicity!! How did they buy so much publicity?! I question if this restaurant is paying for all the articles.

Appetizers: A joke! Bad!
The appetizer was a staggering $18 for what amounted to a few wilted lettuce leaves topped with a bland tomato and pepper spread that you could easily find in any supermarket. Charging that much for such a meager offering is nothing short of a joke.

Main Courses: Barely Satisfying!
The main courses are equally disappointing.
* Fried Chicken: What was advertised as fried chicken turned out to be a dry, breaded cutlet and NOT a juice chicken you would expect. The breading fell off with every bite, and the dish lacked any accompanying sides, save for a sprinkle of cabbage and a watery cauliflower sauce that was misleadingly labeled as “cauliflower cream.”
* Short Rib: The short rib was a small portion of decent quality meat, but it was served with an uninspired mix of corn and cheese, topped with a bit of purple cabbage. The limited menu left us feeling unsatisfied; if we hadn’t ordered the bread, we would have left hungry.

Ironically, the bread was the best item we encountered, but at $8, you can find equally delightful options at a local bakery without the accompanying disappointment of the rest of the meal.

Desserts: A Major Disappointment
The desserts were perhaps the most egregious part of the meal:
* $14 Peanut Butter “Mousse”: This was far from a mousse; it was simply peanut butter at the bottom of a bowl, topped with peanuts and a few preserved strawberries. It resembled a poor rendition of peanut butter and jelly without the bread.
* $14 Flourless Chocolate Cake: This was not the high-end dessert you might expect from a reputable restaurant. It tasted like a frozen chocolate block with no texture or flavor whatsoever. It was an embarrassment to the culinary world.

Coffee: NO! They do not have an expresso machine! Let down!!!!!

Service: Inattentive and Uninformed
The service was another low point. Our waitress was not only inattentive but also completely unfamiliar with the menu. Despite my husband’s attempts to give her the benefit of the doubt, it was clear that her disinterest and bad attitude were not due to inexperience. With a mandatory 20% tip, there seems to be little incentive for her to improve. It raises an important question: how can a restaurant justify keeping such a poor employee when they are rewarded regardless of their performance?

In summary, this restaurant is a perfect example of paid PR over substance. If you value your dining experience, I strongly recommend steering clear of this establishment. There are far better options out there that won’t leave you feeling cheated!

My pictures don’t do the justice they should. This was a fantastic meal. Local 111 has a small menu and everything is a winner. My wife and I shared the chicories salad and the croquetas. Then I had the fish of the day, which was trout, and she had the chicken which our waiter, Mariusz, said was his favorite. We are definitely coming back here!

I had a wonderful experience at 111! Lilly was awesome and the food was phenomenal. They had a prefix 3 course menu for $39 and every course was incredible. I ordered a lychee and peaflower mocktail that was one of the best things ive ever tasted. highly recommend stopping here for a bite to eat if you’re in the area. Great vibes all around – I’m already looking forward to going back again.
