Loca Mocha is a coffee shop located in Sumas, Washington. We have combined the flavors of the PNW coffee scene with vibrant Mexican American favorites since 2019. Owner, Nicole Sandoval Postma is a Mexican-American entrepreneur who grew up in Los Angeles. We’re located on the Sumas/Abbotsford Border, and within walking distance to Sumas City Park, Sumas Splash Pad, Shipping Locations, and the Rodeo Grounds. Some of our signature beverages include our Mexi Mocha (Chocolate, Sea Salt & Cinnamon), Horchata Latte (Creamy Vanilla & Cinnamon), Aztec Redbull Rush (Guava, Passion Fruit, Tajin & Chamoy), and more! We offer a variety of ways to enjoy your coffee: Dine-in, drive thru, or order online and pick-up inside.

This joint was across the street from where I was waiting while working. The barista was young and cute. We had a pleasant conversation while I waited for my iced coffee. Coffee was good so I bought a bag to take home.

This place was so amazing. First off the staff was so friendly and the owner Nicole personally took care of making sure our family had a great time! We were visiting from out of town and not super familiar with the area. But the whole town seemed so kind, we will definitely be back! Don’t get me started on the chorizo breakfast burrito, it was probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had!

This is such a cute little place. We both got the Mexi-mocha, and it was so good! If I lived closer, this place would be my regular coffee shop. They have baked goods, but we didn’t have a chance to try them on this trip.

We tried their horchata latte and Mexican latte and loved the spices in it. Most customers use drive thru service. I noticed they have a cooler with bottled water for free on their porch, which is a great move to help people in need during the summer. Kudos to the mindful business! The washroom is clean.

I was at this location on February 19th and was treated fantastic by Nicole who is the owner and a wonderful entrepreneur!
Sorry I did not have photos this time however I will be sure to post it next time because the jalapeno breakfast sausage and egg bagel was nothing short of fantastic which is hard to do when it’s only a bagel. However it was loaded with cheese and a fresh egg and even a hearty portion of sausage and their own slightly spicy sauce if you request it.
I also had some hot tea which was very good.
When I have a chance I will drop off some of my hot sauce.
I highly recommend you stop in and try their breakfast Bagels and sugar free flavoured hot tea.

I have just attended this location again and once again ordered the same breakfast bagel with the same tea and as promised here are the photos also I would like to mention the price is a very good price at $7.60 taxes included. For those of you that are in law enforcement I was also informed that they have a 10% discount on Tuesdays for law enforcement.

A cute little coffee bar, lovely snacks and great people. A gem of the community. They are always giving back to the community and helping those in need. Worth a stop, even if you are in a hurry. Just order and pick up on the way!
