Nice small location. I’ve been here several times over the last few years and it’s been consistent. Nice size and great flavor. It has appreciably gotten quite expensive over time but that’s the norm right now. Double meat Maine lobster roll with fries and drink tax and tip runs about $55 so be aware but it’s worth it.

The Baseline
The Baseline: For a seafood fast casual restaurant the fish/seafood needs to be fresh, the presentation of the food should be comforting and respect the delicacy of the seafood, and there must be a selection of accompanying offerings.

October 2025 Review;
Food: The joy of tonight was late Happy Hour (HH) that goes from 8:30PM to close and the 3 petite lobster tails for $40. Lobster Guys is quickly becoming my go to lobster and beer joint. So Connecticut Lobster roll ($21), spicy Cajun shrimp roll ($14 HH), Calamari Fries ($8 HH), Coconut Shrimp ($6.50 HH), Three Lobster tails ($40), Margaritas, and a Firestone Blood Orange Beer. Yeah it was all good but I would skip on the Calamari and coconut shrimp as it is just deep fried seafood. Spend the extra on the good items that you want to eat anyway.

Service: Order at the counter and get delivered to your table. It was a little busy and I think they were short staffed but they were all efficient.

Ambiance: Lobster Guys is fun frills and down to earth entertaining restaurant / bar. They stick to things they know they do well.

September 2025 review:
Food: Taco Tuesday is a great day to come visit Lobster Guys! Had 3 tacos and sweet potato waffle fries. Tacos were lobster, Mahi-Mahi, and Carnitas and they were all tasty-fresh-filling! I had a California Cream Ale that was a nice beer to go with the tacos.

Service: Great Service on my visit here. The business really does strive to provide a great experience.

Ambiance: Restaurant / Bar feel with a bunch of 80’s music and videos playing. Great fun feel for a Tuesday.

Food: You come here, as the name says, for the Lobster Rolls. The lobster roll has a good meat ratio to fill the roll, the bread is soft and well toasted. The fries are good to fine but I am a fry snob so my bar is higher on that particular dish. I had the fish and chips this visit and the fish was well breaded, delicate, and cooked through, only critique I wanted the breading to be crispier than it was. Clam chowder and grilled cheese was a nice solid staple which hit the spot.

Service: This is a walk up and order and then get it delivered to your table type of service restaurant. No problems with service and the staff gave great suggestions. I was even offered two different beer tasting when selecting by beer. Rey happy with the service.

Ambiance: Restaurant / Bar type of restaurant with sports on the televisions. The decor matches the food offerings and the vibe is a bar setting. Bathroom was clean enough though is was very dive bar-esque (served its purpose).

I like the feel of this restaurant and the food is good

If you’re looking for good food, cool vibes, and an intimate feel, Lobster Guys is the spot to be.

I had the lobster roll with mayonnaise on top — it was definitely a 10/10. Fresh, flavorful, and worth every bite.

Perfect place for a low-key date night or catching up with friends. ✨

Great lobster rolls for a good price. They offer both Maine (cold) & Connecticut (warm) style. The seafood is fresh, rolls filling is generous, service is friendly and fast, and the price is extremely reasonable. Aside from the signature rolls, I recommend the Lobster Mac & Cheese (great mac and not artificially cheesy) and Fried Calamari Fries (big pieces that it looks like fried pickles). The vibes is more of a casual bar where you order at bar. I recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

If I’m in the area, I’m stopping here. Super nice staff & yummy food! I get the Connecticut Lobster roll but I always get a side of their herbed aioli with it and also use it to dip my fries in, it’s so good. This time I tried the coconut shrimp which were good but their Cajun grilled shrimp are so delicious, next time I’ll get two orders of them instead. Definitely try this spot if you love seafood. Lots on the menu that I still want to try but you cannot go wrong with a lobster roll and their Cajun grilled shrimp!

BEST! lobster roll spot! Just had the most fabulous time at Lobster-Guys Redondo North. Stopped in around noon and ordered the crab and lobster roll Clobster style—so fresh and bursting with flavor! Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious!

Our server, Rudy , was the real star of the afternoon. His charm and attentiveness made the meal extra special. Rudy’s stellar service and delightful personality mean I’ll definitely be back for more.

There’s plenty of parking in the back, and the service is fantastic and speedy. The inside is casual and inviting, with a great selection of lobster-centric dishes and finely curated draft beers. Plus, with great music and a happy hour from 3 to 5:30 PM, it’s the best place to catch your favorite sporting events and unwind. If you’re looking for a great meal and a fun dining experience, Lobster-Guys Redondo North is the place to be!

We went for the lobster rolls and we were NOT disappointed! We also tried the lobster Mac and the chicken wings. The old bay chicken wings were by far the best wings!!! This place is small but has big flavor! The jot lobster roll was my favorite but the cold roll was a close 2nd. Great service too. This is my new go to for lobster rolls for sure.

This place was absolutely fantastic. Every single thing I tried was flavorful and complex to balance out the richness and not make you feel bloated instantly like a lot of lobster roll places. The butter rolls were just the right level of buttery to make it a compliment to the meat.

The clobster, Connecticut style was actually perfect with the right amount of crab and lobster to mix it up so neither felt overpowering or fishy.

The flaming hot lobster fries were insane. Could have used a little more crunch and a little less cheese, but the marriage of flavors made the whole table lap it up instantly.

The lobster Mac and cheese was also decadent but not over the top! The spiral noodles with the cheese sauce and lobster was a perfect combo especially with the old bay hot sauce they cleverly keep on the tables.

Service was with a smile and really fast, attentive, and humorous. Such a perfect Redondo beach style casual food place that would be extra good after a surf.
