Such a great place! Lobster was delicious, seafood chowder was amazing, fish and chips were oh so yummy! And for dessert—the best key lime pie! Service was very attentive. Don’t miss this nice place to relax beside the water with a great meal.

We visited The Lobster Galley during our road trip through the Maritimes and it was simply amazing. It was the best meal we’ve had so far. The lobster bites are sensational, incredibly fresh, and full of flavour. The deep-fried mussels were new to us, but they’re now our favourite way to eat them. Even people in our group who don’t usually like mussels couldn’t get enough. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for in a lobster restaurant, with a spectacular view right from our table. The service was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Prices are excellent for the quality you get. I would recommend The Lobster Galley to anyone. It was our best discovery on this trip and it will be the first stop we make when we come back.

Excellent food and incredible service! We stopped here on a whim passing by to Baddeck and it ended up being the best meal of our time here in Nova Scotia! The all you can eat lobster dinner was the best; fast refills and great quality! The lobster linguine was also a hit at our table, lots of lobster and great flavour!

Honestly tried so many lobster rolls all around NS, and this by FAR has been the best lobster roll I’ve ever had. Fully loaded, picture worthy, taste fresh, was absolutely delicious. The mix of seafood platter was good as well and 100% get the homemade key lime pie. HIGHLY recommend

The lobster, mussels, and chowder special is a great value and was delicious. The owners and staff are great hosts to us who travel via motorhomes allowing us to overnight in their parking lot and waking up to one of the most beautiful views in Nova Scotia. Highly recommend

Staff were very kind when we stopped in from the St. Ann’s motel as my wife’s back was hurt and she couldn’t sit, so we’re ordered at the bar. They had a good selection of cider from local Nova Scotia brewers which was nice. The smash Burger wasn’t but but it wasn’t anything too exciting, but the chowder and the fish and chips were very nice. Stick with the seafood here and you’ll be happy.

Under new ownership effective June 2025 and the new owner, Dale, was a very welcoming host. Dale is a local lobster fisherman and catches all the lobster served in his restaurant. All the seafood is locally sourced, prepared fresh and delicious. The seafood chowder was the best I’ve ever eaten. I had the cesear salad with lobster and hubby had a lobster dinner. Everything was delicious. The local Nova Scotia wine was very good. Dale and his staff are perfect hosts and I highly recommend eating here

We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we modified our travel plans so that we could visit again.
We travel with my service dog that remains on my left during meals, the owners made sure that we were seated where my needs were best met, that we could enjoy the live entertainment and have incredible service.
The food was delicious and served hot!
The hospitality was exceptional. Our server, Jade greeted us with a soft welcoming smile and we hugged at our departure. We wish this business the best of success and appreciate the very hard, endless work that it takes to run any business especially the restaurant business.

Incredible views and lovely staff. I tried the lobster caesar and seafood platter with lobster bites, fried mussels, calamari and steamed mussels. It thoroughly satisfied my seafood cravings.
Every little morsel of those lobster bites was pure bliss.
Can’t wait to come back and try more.

Absolutely fantastic! The view from the dining room is breathtaking — you can enjoy your meal while looking out at the beautiful ocean and peaceful coastline. The lobster roll was fresh, creamy, and full of flavor, and the fries were crispy and delicious. The service was warm and friendly. This place is a hidden gem and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. Highly recommended!
