The new owners made this place freakin awesome. Always the freshest seafood you can get in the area by far and awesome specials. Andreas Calamari is a must order app- Gumbo is awesome and my usual fried flounder is better and fresher than anywhere I’ve ever had around the jersey shore. If you haven’t been there since the change in ownership give it a shot, you’ll be happy to see you have access to that type of quality and freshness in this area!

Fresh but portion size not worth the price. My sister said her crab cake sandwich was mostly filler but at least no Old Bay in it. My lobster bisque had no lobster meat in it, very soupy. My CT lobster roll was small but good! Service was great!

We arrived to the restaurant 20 minutes before they were going to close, and they happily greeted and welcomed us in! They allowed our six year old to explore their seashell display, and all of the staff smiled as we found our table. Best lobster roll I’ve ever had, and the rest of the family loved their food as well! Quick, friendly service, they never made us feel rushed, and it was such a nice atmosphere! Can’t wait to go back to Lobster Claw!

Went here for the first time last Friday, ordered a Connecticut style lobster roll and a take home container of lobster bisque soup. The lobster roll was a straight up delicacy. Can’t wait to return for another one ASAP! The best lobster roll i’ve had outside of Maine, period!

Drove over an hour to try this place and was not disappointed! The lobster bisque was delicious and obviously homemade. The Connecticut style lobster roll had huge pieces of lobster in and was also amazing. And the prices were great too! I’ve spent time on the coast in Maine and the quality was just as good as the lobster from there. Will definitely return!

The lobster roll was good, fresh and clean taste, not too much mayo. It’s on a potato roll not a split top. We bought some of the lobster salad to go because we liked it on the roll. Maryland crab cake was ok, but on salty side. Bay fries were much too salty for our taste. Service was good, friendly staff. Will return for lobster.

Ordered takeout last Friday, did the family meal. The food was ready on time, the restaurant was pretty busy so I’m glad we opted for takeout vs dine in. They have plenty of options assuming you want seafood of course . The family meal has a mix of fried shrimp, flounder, scallops and a couple crab cakes. You also get potato salad and a couple sides plus sauces. The food was excellent, the crab cakes had plenty of crab vs filler. The price for the food was reasonable for what you get. If you’re thinking seafood the Claw would be a great choice.
