If you like pecans, honey, dried fruits (cranberry, apricot, apple, cherry and raisin) then try their Holiday Bread. It’s not overly sweet and with hints of cinnamon, it’ll quickly become a seasonal tradition in your home!
I used the Challah bread to make french toast, what a treat!
The apple cherry Challah is waiting for me to try. I definitely bought too much bread, but it’s so good I couldn’t resist.

Everything I’ve had from here has been exceptional. I buy the loaves and haven’t had one I didn’t like. The cherry apple challah was particularly good. Despite the lack of junk and preservatives I find the bread stays good a few days still, but it’s best eaten quickly.

Always been a go to. Consistently delicious sandwiches, jams, granola, + more. I always get a tuna salad sandwich on a seasonal bread with lettuce, cucumbers, tomato, onion + chz <3 I got their FROG jam which has fits, raspberries, orange + ginger in it and WOW it did not disappoint. Every time I come I am so satisfied with the food, the service and the quality of love that goes into it. Everything here is obviously made with love <3

Loafers Bread is a local chain business that makes fresh baked goods daily, including many flavors of breads as well as cinnamon rolls, cookies, muffins, scones, pies, etcetera. When I shopped in this bakery, an employee immediately and politely served me. I bought the Cherry Apple Challah and the chocolate-chip cookies, and I really enjoyed both of them.

Not worth the price. Got a half sandwich and soup for $14ish. The chicken salad sandwich was pathetic – barely a smear across the little triangle of bread. I basically paid $8 for a slice of bread. Tiny cup of soup too

This is not an honest merchant. We bought a Too-Good-To-Go pack from them that is supposed to worth $18 value, and this is what I got. I don’t see how it can worth $18.
EDIT: it could also be a merchant who makes mistakes with their orders. I can’t tell.

Places like this don’t exist anymore. If you can stop by, the bread is divine.

While prices have inched up on their baked goods and sandwiches, this remains one of the finest shops in the region for remarkable and tasty breads. If you are likely to be a steady customer, get the punch cards to save up for free sandwiches and breads. Their website is very informative about the special breads of the day. They also have amazing brownies.

You can quickly read through and pronounce every ingredient in the bread. It’s full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Served the stuffing bread at Christmas Eve dinner and it was a huge hit. Always always excellent. Worth every penny.

I no longer live in Pennsylvania, but every single time I visit, I make sure to check out the Bread Schedule and give Loafers a call! The staff are always incredibly helpful/accommodating; I’ve called many times with requests to pre-order/hold a loaf or two to fly them back home with me, and they are always willing to do so. Their product is always incredibly fresh and delicious. It’s so hard to eat any other kind of bread, knowing that this craftsmanship is out there. If you’re visiting the area (or have guests visiting), make sure to swing by. Fox Chapel, don’t take this place for granted! It’s an absolute GEM.
