Let’s start with the positives. The restaurant was spacious and clean and we were seated immediately for a late lunch on Saturday around 1:30.
The grilled chicken was good even if it was a bit thin. It was well seasoned and properly cooked. The chicken tenders were also a big hit for my daughter. My son said his grilled cheese was quite good and ate it with gusto. The fries were absolutely excellent. I don’t know if they serve a house made ketchup or not, but the ketchup they served with them was outstanding and not your typical Heinz. The green beans were home style with bacon in them and delicious. The mashed potatoes weren’t bad, but they weren’t exceptional either. A solid side, though.
On to the negatives. It took quite a while to get our food. I would say we waited around a half hour to receive our orders. When they did bring our orders out, the rare ribeye I ordered was medium. They took it back and made me another. It was medium as well. My guess is that they are not using enough heat to get a quick sear, especially with the thin breakfast style ribeyes they’re serving. It was also seasoned quite strangely. It ended up tasting more like a pork chop than a steak.
They also said they were out of baked potatoes. On a Saturday. Before dinner.
Their beer menu also didn’t reflect what they actually had. I ordered a draft Sam Adams Boston Lager and they brought me a bottle.
The prices were steep for the quality of the food. $77 for a meal (including tip) was a bit much considering the quality and the service. I’d have been a lot happier about the price tag if the quality of the food had been better, but it just wasn’t.
Probably won’t return here unless I find out they’ve made some big changes in the kitchen or improved their pricing.

Loved the service. Great wait staff. The food was average nothing to get excited about. Missed an opportunity with the fried pepperoni appetizer, it’s just that deep fried pepperoni. Atmosphere was nice, but lost the feel of the historic building. Hopefully the food and the feel will get better with time would love to see this place make it.

My wife and I ordered the bacon cheese fries for an appetizer and I had the 8 oz Ribeye with mashed potatoes. My wife ordered the steak sandwich with fries. Overall we thought the food was good. I come here almost daily and I love everything on the menu from the serloin to the club the waitresses are so nice and the kitchen staff are so professional this has become my favorite spot in town and the prices u can’t beat! Such amazing people and I’ve never once had to ask for a refill them girls stay on it looking forward to the great things this store has to offer not only in the future menu items but in the continued hospitality of there patrons KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK !!!!

Order a sirloin, it was a flat flank. It was cut against the grain. It was so tough I couldn’t eat it. Others that were at the same table didn’t like their food either. Best thing at the table was a grilled cheese and fries.
