Im just walking out of one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in quite a long time. Seventy one dollars for two main dishes, a child’s meal, and an appetizer is outrageous. What’s worse is that the food for that price point is comically low quality. Most of it tastes like canned or frozen food. The highlight of this place is the delicious sweet bread made in the back. If I ever come back, it’ll only be for the concha’s from Panecito. Which is to say, I do recommend the baked goods from panecito, very delicious. Coffee drinks were too sweet for my taste, but it’s a good alternative to other mainstream coffee places.

Affordable! Alex our server was soooo kind and accommodating, very informative, and very welcoming:
They have $10 conchas that feed like 4 people, I asked about the large coffee, it feeds about 12 people and it’s 3 pots of coffee. Didn’t get it because it’s just me and my husband, my husband got the enchiladas and they were very yummy! His only thing was the veggies the rice, were unnecessary lol
They also had complementary mini conchas. I got the papas tacos, with the mild red sauce. It’s soooo fulfilling and the sauce is chefs kiss. Definitely a reorder and affordable! And I also got a bean and cheese burrito, $4.99! Heavy greasy cheese, obviously, I couldn’t finish all of it, but the beans are very good and I’m happy to dig in again later to my left overs. My husband also said the hot sauces they provide on the table, “habanero cosecha purepecha” super spicy! It turned him red! Haha but he liked it a lot! We got the flight of chocolate and horchata and Carmel coffees, which paired Nicely with a complementary conchas. Definitely will be back when we are in the area! So happy I stumbled upon this place. I really enjoyed The atmosphere, it was a nice morning date with my husband. Oo and they have a to go option so he can swing by on his lunch breaks!

Good selection of tasty food on the menu. Portions are good not overwhelming. The carne asada chilaquiles are really good. Mazapan latte as well and of course the concha are amazing! Customer service is the best!

We had the Mazapan crepes and they were delicious! They first started off with free sweet bread at the table! My wife took pictures and she will share! We also had the Asada chilaqiles that were on fire!

Better than any Denny’s or IHOP I’ve ever been to. Staff was very friendly; it had a lovely atmosphere; and the food was great! I’ll definitely be back next time.

I have given this restaurant 3 different chances to earn my business over the past 3 years, but NOPE, they are consistent with their portions not matching their HIGH price points, I have attached a photo of their $8.00 biscuits and gravy, I also had their crunchy asada chilaquiles- the meat was fatty; they don’t clean their meat, for such high pricing you’d think they’d clean their meats some.the fatty pieces I had were obvious, they should’ve removed those pieces as it was an entire 2 pieces of fat. As you can see, in the photo of their $8.00 biscuits and gravy, their portions are very frugal. Not nearly enough gravy for the biscuits- biscuits are ALWAYS smothered in the gravy. What is this, biscuits with “a splash” of gravy?!?!?

Heard about this place on social. For us, it didn’t live up to the hype. I’ve seen single people receiving a basket of 4 free conchas. We were a party of 2 and only received 2 room tempurature conchas. Whrn the food came out we had no napkins or silverware – we had to ask for it. Service was meh. I ordered chorizo and eggs and the server told me it’s a dollar more than the already high menu price…if that’s the case, why not update your menu? My husband had an egg dish and he wasn’t charged extra. I don’t think I was served chorizo. It was the strangest tasting thing…who knows what they gave me! The rice and beans were flavorless. The horchata was good but filled with ice so I got less beverage, and it was a high price too and no refills. I thought the menu was highly priced overall. I was excited to try this place but was a fail.

Pretty good, better then I expected. Its a little different since you can get a typical breakfast, many different options, but also they serve Mexican dishes like enchiladas, burritos etc. Close at 2pm so it’s a breakfast and a lunch spot only. I will eat there again. Prices were fair and they have a bakery inside I’d like to visit next time.

The food is fantastic, offering a great selection of both American and Mexican breakfast options. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. You absolutely must try the complimentary concha bread they give you as an appetizer—it’s unbelievably good! The entire staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience feel like a meal at a friend’s house. I instantly felt right at home. Highly recommend!

Stopped by the Placentia location for brunch — kind of like a Mexican twist on a diner. The place has a big menu with both American and Mexican options, so there’s something for everyone. We got the asada chilaquiles plate, chilaquiles torta, strawberry banana brioche French toast, and the butter cookie pancake. Portions were big, and everything came out pretty quick. They give you complimentary mini conchas when you sit down, which is a nice touch. The food overall was solid — nothing over the top, but definitely hits when you want a casual, hearty breakfast or lunch. Service was friendly, and the space felt open and relaxed. People call it the Mexican Denny’s, and honestly that fits — no-frills, big servings, and good comfort food when you’re in the mood for it.
