I showed up late on a Sunday (around 10) on a whim. I did read reviews that said to get there early & they’re not wrong. There was a line at 10 & only 2 kinds of bagels left. So I ended up getting the salt one, it was realllly salty, but the bagel itself was delicious & made well. I want to come back & try more flavors & maybe a breakfast sandwich. Owners were sweet as can be!
Finding a good bagel anywhere that isn’t NY is such a project & they nailed it. Well done

This is THE spot for bagels in Punta Gorda. They bake a set number each morning, so if you’re not there early, you’re out of luck. It’s not unusual for them to sell out by 10 a.m., and honestly, that’s part of the charm – quality over quantity.
What I really love about this place is how much they’ve improved over the years. I remember when their breakfast sandwiches used to feel like fast food—baked eggs and yellow American cheese? Hard pass. But now? They’ve nailed it. Perfectly fried egg, white American cheese, crispy bacon – all on a fresh, chewy bagel. It’s worth the wait every time.

My fiancée and I love this little bagel shop. We are from Minnesota, but one of our favorite things to do when we visit PG is to walk to the bagel shop for breakfast. The food is great and the owners get to know you & make you feel special.
There’s often a line, but it moves fast and is always worth the wait! Definitely plan to get there early if you want the full flavor selection because they sell out fast!
Thank you Patti and Jim for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

Great Bagel, service and price. Here on family vacation and the staff was lovely. The bagel was tosted nicely and had just the right amount of cream cheese. I would definitely go back.

Wonderful breakfast bagels with friendly service! Don’t take two years living here like we did to try them out!! We’ll definitely be back again. Even worth an OTB to get here . Salmon was buttery & fresh. Bagels toasted perfectly. Each bagel is prepared to order. A little bit of a wait if busy but you’ll be happy when you take that first bite!

We were sitting in the car looking at the menu. The window still had 2 bagel choices and it was 11:15 so we figured we were still good to go. 5 mins later was getting out of the car and the co-owner came out to empty the trash and closed it up. With a sold out sign. Guess if want to go home early you just hang the “sold out ” sign up even if you still have bagles.

Coming down from New Jersey, finding a bagel place like home is hard to find. Stopped in for a Jersey Tradition, Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. Was happy to see actual Taylor Ham on the menu which is a big win. For being 1200 miles from home, breakfast was tasty and bagels were surprisingly tasty. For those visiting Punta Gorda and are looking for Jersey style bagels, don’t think you will find much better than this place.

A friend recommended to come by here on my drive. My mouth is watering as I write this and definitely looking forward to returning.
The line wasn’t too long, I got an Asiago Bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and The Good Life adding ham.
Definitely recommend everyone coming by here. I do wish they were open later.
Thank you!
