I’ve visited several Lloyd’s locations over the years, but nothing compares to the incredible experience I had during my recent visit. From the moment I sat down at the bar, the professionalism, energy, and overall hospitality were on a completely different level.
I ordered the Dirty South Burrito, and it was absolutely phenomenal—perfectly balanced, packed with flavor, and crafted with the kind of consistency you only get from a team that takes real pride in what they do. But the highlight of my visit wasn’t just the food… it was the exceptional service from Jade and Afo, who turned a casual night out into hands-down my best Lloyd’s experience to date.
Both bartenders were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely upbeat. Jade mixed my drinks with precision and personality, while Afo brought the kind of energy and hospitality that makes you feel like you’re a regular even on your first visit. One of the drinks I had wasn’t even on the menu—Afo crafted it on the spot, and it was so good it deserves a permanent place on the cocktail list. That level of creativity and passion is rare, and it absolutely elevated the night.
Between the great music, spotless bar setup, fast service, and the team’s ability to make the entire environment feel welcoming and professional, Lloyd’s proved once again why it’s one of the best spots around—but this visit set a new standard entirely.
If you want peak quality, top-tier service, and a guaranteed good time, sit at the bar with Jade and Afo. This was a 10/10 experience, easily the best I’ve ever had at any Lloyd’s location.

I normally order the grilled chicken burrito and you just never know what you’re going to get. One time it was missing chicken, the other time it was missing beans, and more recently the chicken was tasteless (or more commonly it’s dry and hard to chew). The inconsistency just doesn’t make it worth it anymore.

Place is mid. $14 for 3 tacos was not impressed but food wasn’t terrible. Tacos were carelessly thrown into a container. Fish was dry and didn’t like the seasoning on the ground beef. Just go to Fresh Catch next door and get a poke bowl instead of tacos it’s better. Chipotle is honestly better than here.

The food is good that is why we keep going back. 9 times out of 10 the order is wrong even if you say make it the way it comes. You can order in person, kiosk or online they just can’t do it. Staff can ask if you want rice and beans and it doesn’t happen. Extra peanut sauce on the side ( purchased) ? Never in the bag. The employees are friendly and even when the order is wrong the food is good. The experience is frustrating. Williamsville location. The Hertel location is a well oiled machine and never have order difficulties.

Would give 0 if I can. Ordered tacos and burritos and the food is cold – in Buffalo winter. Crispy fish burrito is very dry. Don’t think they have any service but it’s okay. At least 3 ppl were preparing food when I was eating there – how is that possible that food is cold? If the workers are too tired to make appropriate food, just close the door earlier – that would be good for both them and customers.

I ordered DoorDash, I got a grilled burrito and the cracked potatoes. I spent about $30 on the food, and it honestly was gross. The burrito was cold and dry, overly filled with bland cabbage… the cracked potatoes were ok, not my favorite flavors and I honestly only ended up eating a couple of them. Food overall was not good and I wouldn’t eat here again… yuck.

Came in looking for food around 10pm, ordered 3 tacos, a burrito and a side. The food was done in <5 min but they were all cold. The chicken taco had a good flavor but was too small to justify $4. Overall atmosphere and service were good. But food quality and price lacking. Dont recommend

Well, this place went downhill fast. If I wanted taco salad I would have called my aunt Linda on my rotary phone. Taco salad is what I got anyway, because there was zero chance of eating tacos with dissolved shells in the way one expects to. Truth be told it was more of a taco soup. When I brought it to the attention of the bartender he responded as though it was wrong of me to expect tacos that I could pick up and eat with my hands. Oh well, I suppose that I won’t miss this place.

I should try everything first but just need to say those party rolls are fire. $6.49 for 2 seems a little steep but maybe just because I want like 10. Took me a bit to figure out what they remind me of: “Mexican spanakopita.”

Hope everything else is just as good. Took a coworker’s advice on the drunken chicken quesadilla.

Update: Had about the same experience. Nothing bad, nothing exceptional. Had a nice IPA, enjoyed the Pork sandwich instead of tacos, and ordered some delicious churros. There was a live band this evening and they were even airing Rugrats on the projector. Quirky, fun place with okay but overpriced food and drinks. Staff was nice and the restaurant was clean. Can’t ask for much else. There wasn’t much seating and we had to fight for a table after our group gathered at the bar initially. Otherwise nice time!
Had a good quick lunch here. Make sure to order the large size taco. The 4 small ones are a very bad value honestly I don’t know why they sell them. Maybe it makes sense for people at the Lloyd’s food truck that are willing to pay a premium for being able to eat the taco on the run but if you’re eating in just get the larger size.
