Phenomenal food and excellent service. This place had been on my radar since they opened & I was not disappointed. The food was simply delicious & full of flavor. And don’t skip out on dessert! The lucuma cheesecake was amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back.

My best friend and I went to go eat at this place because we saw a video on tiktok. We absolutely fell in love with Llama Sam. The atmosphere the food the service was all 10/10. Good authentic Peruvian restaurants are hard to find because sometimes they don’t meet our expectations but this place is one we’ll definitely be back. We tried the croquetas de aji de gallina, tallarin verde, tallarines à la huancina and the most amazing desert cheesecake chicha morada. I absolutely hate cheesecake because it’s so thick but this cheesecake tasted like I was eating air. It was almost like a mousse. It was airy and everything about it was amazing all the flavors meshed really well together. Overall we’re very satisfied and fell in love with this place. We met Nicki Johanna and Moises who were so kind and so welcoming. They were so open to critiques but we had none because everything was phenomenal. We felt right at home. We will definitely be returning very soon to see other recipes they’re going to add!

Came for their lunch special and I was very impressed. First off the waitress and servers are all so nice and welcoming. They were all really passionate about the food and excited for me to try. The waitress recommended their lentejas which were really flavorful. Also ordered their lunch entree (don’t remember what it was called) but it was also good.

Llama Sam is a great spot for authentic Peruvian food. The dishes were flavorful and beautifully prepared, especially the octopus, ceviche, Arroz chaufa de pollo, and tallarín saltado con filet mignon. The space is small but cozy, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the chef even came out to greet us. The house-made chicha morada cannoli was the perfect ending. Highly recommend!

Was running some errands in the area when I remembered I had this place bookmarked, so I ordered online for pickup. We ordered a few items to share:
-Tallarines Verdes (fettucine, Peruvian-style pesto sauce, parmesan cheese, marinated skirt steak, and potato huancaina sauce) – this was the best dish. It was nice and flavorful and the pasta was cooked perfectly. I did ask for medium rare on the steak though, and it was more of a medium
-Chaufa de Mariscos (sautéed seafood mix, scrambled eggs, soy sauce, chopped scallions, dash of ginger and a touch of sesame oil) – pretty salty but at least they don’t skimp on the seafood
-Jalea (breaded seafood dish of calamari, shrimp, mussels, crab leg, fish and yuca lightly battered and fried served with sarza criolla) – I really only like the calamari, fish, and yuca. There was very little shrimp, only one mussel, which I ate and it did not taste fresh. The hot sauce was really good though
There are some other dishes I’d like to try, like the ceviche so I might be back for that. I also saw they have a good lunch special deal Mondays through Fridays, so maybe I’ll pick one of those days. Next time, I’d ask for less salt on the food.
Note – there’s a service fee if you order online but then there’s also a 5% discount for first time orders, so it cancels out.

Llama sam is such a treat! I had the Lomo with chicken, the chicha morada, and a chicha morada flavored cheesecake!
The lomo was so tender and flavorful, and I could tell the ingredients were very fresh.
The chicha Morada was also incredibly fresh and ice cold.
The cheesecake was phenomenal, the presentation was so nice. The owner recommended this to me and I was very happy with it.
