Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 – Loco Moco and a mini chicken katsu. The loco moco was done really well with the perfect over easy eggs and plenty of gravy. The patty was seasoned strongly and a bit salty but offsets well with the creaminess of the egg and gravy. Absolutely delicious! The chicken katsu was fried well with a sweet katsu sauce. It is by far the best L and L Hawaiian BBQ place I have been to. I am from Honolulu HI and this location in Tumwater WA out ranks all of them. The manager is very happy spirited as well as the staff. I just got back from the big island last Monday, and this is like the Hawaiian McDonald’s. The garlic fish was swai but it was pretty close to the garlic mahi they had back on the big island. This place makes me happy, I fell in love on my vacation and really enjoyed that they have locations on the mainland. The laulau and kalua pork are fantastic and made my day. They also have the Hawaiian sun juice drinks which are fabulous!
