Update: Grab your gourmet takeout dinner and watch the gorgeous sunset. Possibly the best value in the islands! I visited again and can say their Grilled Garlic Mahi Mahi is excellent value. It’s really enough two people to share. You might just add a side salad…..(Previously) The L&L stand at Ala Moana Beach Park has nice healthy options including green side salad and brown rice. The service is great. Unfortunately the homeless can be a bit aggressive here. They refuse food and only want cash They are very persistent about asking for cash… Hard to sit down and enjoy your meal. There are other tables and benches not too far away. (Suggest sitting on the beach while watching the sunset!) The prices are very fair … Good value

Food cost around 15-20, you can order and eat at the beach, however; the parking is really hard to find, and there will be a lot of flys when you eat. You will be too busy getting the flys out of your food instead of looking at the beautiful beach.

This traditional Hawaiian fast food joint (found all over the island) has wonderful bbq-type food. Great for a picnic on the beach on a hot day. My wife got herself some chicken. And my baby ate up some French fries. I got the bbq mix with three types of meat! Very inexpensive. The macaroni salad was extra special.
