The food was really tasty and felt healthy. Prices are about the same as fast food chains, but here you get fresh and nutritious meals instead. A great option if you want something more wholesome without paying extra.

I’ve had my doubts about Hawaiian plate lunch, but no more. Every last thing was amazing. Teriyaki beef, fried shrimp, orange chicken, garlic chicken, mac salad… all so so good. The garlic chicken is heaven for true garlic lovers and I’ve never liked any mac salad I’ve had on island until this one. Would recommend the mini plate unless you are HUNGRY or want leftovers, portions are generous to say the least. I’ll be working my way through the menu for the next few months, please call a doctor.

We got the mochiko chicken and the portion was huge and tasted great! We also tried the garlic chicken and pork.. definitely recommend for an affordable delicious plate lunch.

Gave us the wrong order saying it was what we ordered… we drove all the way back to get the correct food and they told us we had to pay a second time even though they screwed up. They didn’t even apologize for THEIR mistake. Wouldn’t give us any compensation and gave us a really hard time. Sauce was dripping outside of the container as well and was super messy. poor service and sloppy. Wouldn’t go to this location ever again.

Chicken was overcooked, rubbery, and you could smell the rancid oil. The rice was also disgusting and had an odd, almost plastic, taste to it. I threw the whole thing away. The dining room did not look very clean either.

I had the garlic shrimp and it was delicious. However, the shrimp had the shell on. Meaning that the breading for the fried shrimp was on top of the shrimp shell so all the flavor would be as you remove the shell. The side salad was not fresh.

Horrible, I been coming here for 13 years and the food quality has gotten worse. The rice been tasting dirty like they dont wash it throughly and the rice even taste like some plastic. I ordered a mini beef stew and the was only a few small piece of beef and the rest is all fat. The potatoes were hard I had to throw it away. The lady is also very rude all the time

Hawaiian tourist here. I just learned that each location is a franchise and that they may vary from one to another. The garlic chicken here is awesome!Pictured here is a mini, which comes with a scoop of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad. The creamy pasta complements the garlic chicken perfectly. This place reminded me of the dive taco shops that exist all over in San Diego. Inexpensive. Great food. Your mileage may vary.
