Their lunch special is a lot of food for around $13. We tried the roast pork + chicken BBQ with egg, and the chicken BBQ + fried shrimp. Both were very filling and a great deal.

I ordered barbecue mix plate and I didn’t get the beef short ribs that were supposed to come with the plate and that’s my favorite! The beef that I did get was mostly fat and tasted sour and “off“. Pretty disappointing, unfortunately. I just hope I don’t get sick from the sour meat I took a few bites of.

I love L&L. But this is my least favorite of the L&L BBQ’s. Service is fast and more friendly than others, but their servings have noticeably less meat. And theirs is the only one where the broccoli was clearly from frozen. The musubi is not individually wrapped.
The pics aren’t up to date. This is in a chain mall and there’s only a couple tables inside. A/C is cold though. Fortunately there’s plenty of seating outside in the mall. It’s looking at a parking lot, but there’s a nice breeze.
The kitchen, while it says “passed” on the door, looks like it needs a proper cleaning.

If you’re looking for a great place to grab a bite before heading to the beach, this is a fantastic option. They offer a variety of mix-and-match choices. While the quality may not be top-notch, the marinade and seasoning are good, and the rice and salad are always enjoyable.

The food was ridiculous. Super tasty and delicious. We had spare ribs, chicken panko, saimin (minus Spam, lol!). Ahi tuna and a bacon cheeseburger. We sat outside in the beautiful Hawaiian weather.
