Love this location! Service is always incredible, the woman we always see at the checkout is so friendly. The regular size katsu plate could literally feed 4 people, and get extra sauce, it’s worth it!
Shrimp is always nice and crispy, and the Mac salad is spot on everytime.

There’s nothing out of this world about L&L, but I love the portions and the ability to customize the plate as far as substitutions like toss salad and brown rice. I don’t order a ton of different things off the menu, but when I want a bbq chicken plate with brown rice and toss salad, I always know what I’m getting when I open that plate knowing I won’t be hungry when I’m finished. They’re always very polite there, so I will always support this business!

This place is a dive. However, this place is quite delicious, I had the BBQ mix, and it was very good. The variety of meat was very delicious. The only complaint I have is that the place needs to be a little cleaner to be a 5 star.

We ordered three plates before we left the house and food was ready when we arrived. Got the BBQ mix, Kalua pork and fried shrimp. All were good but the BBQ mix was great . I was able to make two complete meals from the BBQ mix combination plate. Service was polite and friendly. There was plenty of parking available.

A friendly and unpretentious local restaurant in Kailua located in a small shopping centre next to the Anytime Fitness gym.
The menu is extensive with many great options. I chose the Kalua pork meal which was delicious and a good portion size. In addition to the pork, the meal comes with rice and macaroni salad, but I did note that this was different to the Kalua pork that I had tried at a different L&L location. In comparison, there seemed to be more cabbage and less pork than what I had experienced elsewhere.
The dining room was nice and peaceful to sit and enjoy my meal.
Despite the variation in food between here and a different L&L store, the lady at the counter was friendly and the food was still good. I would recommend for anyone in the area wanting good local food.

Iconic diner with big portions of plate lunch foods. Mac salad is ono. Kalbi is my favorite. And the crab Rangoon are really tasty! This photo is not to pretty. The Chicken Katsu curry style was very good, but no one liked the fried fish sandwich.

Got the luau pork with rice and macaroni salad. Beware : their portions are gigantic! I got the mini, and that would have been enough for two good meals for me. What’s better? It was quite cheap (8$ I believe?), and the staff was friendly 🙂

Good BBQ short ribs. Good mac salad. OK fries.
The hamburger though is truly disgusting. The meat was like not even normal ground beef. The bun was right out of the bag and also had a nasty texture. Totally inedible. It was the single worst burger I have ever tasted in my life. My daughter was worried that she swallowed a bite of it in fear of becoming sick. Just no.

This spot is a hidden gem, tucked away right in the muni golf course club house! The food is excellent, the portions hearty, and if you are lucky you can catch some live music. Don’t skip the coconut shrimp!
