Really disappointing experience. I called in an order for teriyaki hamburger steak, but the lady who took my order took it wrong. When I got home and opened the food, the hamburger was extremely dry and the sauce looked thick and gloppy, nothing like the teriyaki hamburger steak they usually serve.
I called back and asked for a manager. The employee told me they have two different kinds, but she never explained that when I placed the order or asked me to specify. Later the manager, Ling, called me back and said the only thing they could offer was a 20% discount credit, not even the amount I paid. While I was explaining the issue, she was laughing, which felt very disrespectful.

Stopped here to get garlic shrimp for lunch, and the shrimp were not deveined. I paid $20 for poopy shrimp. Since they were cooked, I was unable to clean them fully. This is unacceptable, I would not recommend eating here… Who knows what else is in the food.

Overpriced. I ordered small bbq party pack. I usually ordered in other Kapolei branch and they charged $27. It just happened google gave me this store in kamakaana Ali. This store charged $37. Way way overpriced! I showed the menu price they have in their website, the one from their address and the lady still didn’t consider. Wrong advertisement of price as well. I recommended go to other store with fair price and true to their menu price as advertised.

I stopped by while passing the area and bought Kalua Pork Cabbage plate for $15.65 tax included and wow, they gate me a big portion. It was good too with great service. The eating area right outside the restaurant was very nice. I am glad I stopped by.

In town from San Antonio, TX and a friend brought me to L & L for some Hawaiian bbq. This was my first time having this and the mini Kalua pork and cabbage was good, of course the portions were huge, I could only imagine how much food the regular plate has. I really enjoyed the pasta salad and I’m not a big cabbage fan but was tasty with the pork. Only drawback was eating outside in the mall area and having to fight off the hungry birds.

The healthier choice barbeque chicken plate tasted good. The only thing I think could’ve been better is the fact that, for a regular sized plate (about $10), they only gave one piece of chicken, when most other locations give two for a MINI. I understand L&L is franchised so…..there’s that. oh well.

I took my daughter there for a plate lunch because I enjoyed the L & L BBQs I’ve eaten at. This one was very different. The Asian woman who was at the counter gave the worst customer service at any L & L I’ve eaten at (and I’ve been to a LOT of L & Ls across the island! ). On top of that, the food wasn’t up to L & L standards. I told my daughter that the woman must be the owner, because I can’t imagine anyone hiring her.

I have been to A LOT of L&L because it is my favorite place to eat at when I go home to California and it my mom in Hawaii but this one was the best. The meat was SO good, tender and not fatty, very very good. A lot of them the meat is not good so make sure you go to an L&L that has steak because you get better meat than if the menu just says Teriyaki Beef. I promise you, sooo much better. I was sad that this was the last L&L I went to during my visit because it was the best one I ate at—even better than the one on Kauai we went to.

I wish I can give zero star. Worst customer service ever by a lady who served today April 11th, 2018 around 12:10 pm . Food was good but the lady who took my order was horrible , terrible , and the worst customer service . Wish I knew her name , she kept talking to people who was working in kitchen , talking so loud and often saying in bad words . She didn’t even notice when customer were ready to make order . Didn’t give plastic forks and plastic spoons , and when we asked she gave mean face . Didn’t say thank you . L&L hawaiian BBQ , please train this store , please replace people who works there with people who have great moral and great heart . Please check this store review on Yelp . Other customers experienced bad situation in this store .
