This is not ‘fast food’ in the normal sense of McDonalds or something. This is REAL food. Meats grilled on an open flame. And the portions are generous!
I got the BBQ Mix: grilled boneless chicken, thin flank steak (I think?), and short ribs w rice and mac salad, which was easily two meals for less than 20 bucks.
Ok, not the highest quality cuts of meat but a delicious marinade. Hungry omnivores traveling on a budget, this spot is for you.

We loved our food. We shared the BBQ Mix plate. The food was plentiful for 2! The Mac salad was delicious! I only took a few pictures of the menu because their menu is large… and there was glare on most of the menu

This was my favourite plate lunch on the island. I was happy to see they had mini sizes because I often find the portions of regular sized meals to be too much for one person. I got the teriyaki beef plate. The beef was so tender and flavourful. The Mac salad was perfect.

After looking for restaurants on the Big Island we quickly realized most of them closed before 9pm. This one is a gem for being open so late and having the variety that they do. I had the shrimp Hawaiian bowl and wasn’t disappointed. The prices are amazing and the food is delicious. We will be returning here before our trip ends.

There was a hard time ordering food online due to the language barrier, however after some back and forth / explaining we got our order and it was correct but there was a hair in the food, & I’m not sure if it was due to the littlest of frustration with our order but after already being home we did not wish to return. overall the food is always a comfort food, lots of variety and lots to choose from.

Was in the mood for Mac salad and Ohana Warehouse was fresh out – so headed up the road to L&L and ordered two sides of it.
It was $2.60 plus tax for a full small takeout container of delicious, lightly tuna-ed mac salad.
What a deal!
Would say this isn’t the most heart-smart restaurant, but if you’re travelling on a budget and want some hearty tasty food, this is the spot.
