Worst “Hawaiian bbq” I’ve ever had. Just straight trash, they’re not even trying. Got some chicken katsu (really not that hard) and they failed. The “meat” was sliced as thin as sandwich meat and had NO flavor or seasoning on it! Just covered in thick breading. The “mac-salad” was just noodles, mayo, and salt. Disgraceful. The rice was gummy and even the katsu sauce tasted fake or watered down. Waste of $$$

The chicken had no chicken only fried bread and the macaroni salad was plain macaroni and mayo. It had no seasoning, no flavor. I recommend going the Hawaiian L&L in American Canyon, it’s much better.

Love the variety here! I had the seafood salad combo & hubby had the garlic shrimp noodles. We shared a garlic eggplant, too. All were super delicious! Very friendly cashier. Highly recommend this place!

This location has the best people in the kitchen. The service is quick and clean. So far, the BBQ chicken here is 10x better than the other location. The only thing the other location has is, is a better mac salad. It’s creamier (Not that big of deal honestly). The spam musubi is very good. The lemon chicken is nice as well.

On the whole the food was great and it was large portions. I asked for over medium eggs and they were over super hard. One side was cooked so hard it was like rattlesnake skin. So I just took the leftovers home and fried up a couple of my own eggs.

Been going to L&L for years. Even now that I no longer live in Vallejo I have to stop by here once in a blue moon to feast upon their spicy tofu over cabbage with some macaroni salad. A friend ordered the spam masubi and they absolutely loved it.

I’d give it 5 stars, except, the area is so undesirable.
Its Owner is a very Proud, but nice, and humble Gentleman that doesn’t like taking tips for something he feels he doesn’t deserve. I tried to show my appreciation, with a tip, he felt was too high, yet, he doesn’t know how much I appreciated his preparation of the food, making it soft, not allowing me to purchase items, he knew my stomach (GI problems)couldn’t handle.
He truly believes in taking good care of his Customers. It’s a Family Owned business that caters to Hawaiian and Chinese cuisine. The guy can Cook! Especially Musubi (like sushi, w/o all that raw mess, not sliced, but whole and has plain Spam for Spam lovers-very tasty) and Macaroni Salad. It’s a goat, for sure! In this case, that’s a Good thing-Lol

Before I start, rather than going here, go to the other L&L on the gateway plaza near the theatre. Much higher quality AND quantity. So I ordered a BBQ mix, the meat was thin but still tough and didn’t have much flavor. I replaced the bbq chicken with chicken katsu but they only gave me 4 pieces, and the macaroni salad was overcooked, very cold, and tasteless.
