I got the Loco Moco for delivery. It was so savory. It comes with hamburger patties topped with brown gravy and two fresh fried eggs. I got the eggs sunny side up. I love the gooey yolk. It adds more delicious flavor. I also got three huge servings of macaroni salad. That too was flavorful and delicious. The spam Musubi were huge. I would definitely go again and recommend it.

Disgusting food. The chicken and BBQ ribs did not taste right at all—the meat was slimy and clearly not fresh, while the katsu was overly chewy, like the chicken was partially raw. I didn’t even eat most of it and ended up wasting $50. When I called to complain, the employee told me that since I ordered online, I couldn’t get a refund. Terrible experience all around.

I placed my order online in advance and came to the restaurant to pick it up. Despite this, several walk-in customers who arrived after me placed their orders and received their food while I was still waiting. Even worse, the restaurant continued to accept and prioritize walk-in orders while my already-paid online order kept getting delayed.
Online ordering should save time, not make customers wait longer than walk-ins. This experience was frustrating and disappointing. I hope the management reviews how they handle online or delivery orders versus walk-in customers.

Good food. Significantly more expensive than other locations I’ve been to (LA locations have plates/combos for 3-4$ less). McDonald’s style order kiosk too. Don’t think this is competitively priced for the type of food. Wouldn’t come back to this location. Food took like 20 minutes when there were maybe 3 other people in the restaurant.

The food was pretty good, the prices are fair and the portions were enormous, 3 stars for the service, the cashier was really rude, the way she looked at me when I came in made me feel very uncomfortable, like damn another customer, she was very impatient, made me feel like I’m wasting her time, she had an attitude and I didn’t really feel welcomed, the “excuse me” after the payment makes you feel you stole the food and you’d run away, she yelled at me after getting the drink because she said the card didn’t work, worked when she tried it again. I left the food and I won’t really go back anytime in the future.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at L&L Hawaiian Barbecue when attempting to pick up my own online order. I placed my order through DoorDash for personal pickup, not as a driver, yet the rude and incompetent employee at the counter—a woman with clownish makeup—treated me like a delivery driver, demanding a confirmation code that I was never provided.
I clearly stated that I was not a driver and was simply picking up my dinner, yet she interrogated me like I was trying to steal food. To make matters worse, the restaurant had messaged me over 20 minutes earlier that my order was ready, but when I arrived, they claimed it wasn’t and still demanded this so-called confirmation code. Unacceptable.
If you’re going to require confirmation codes, train your staff to politely communicate that ahead of time, not waste customers’ time with unnecessary hostility. This was horrible service, and I won’t be coming back. Get rid of employees who don’t know how to treat paying customers with basic respect.

I buy food from this location at least once a week. Today I had an offer on the L&L app that was for a free mini katsu chicken plate worth 1200 pts. On the offer it said to be redeemed in store. I went to the store told the cashier and he scanned my app and said the order was received . I waited over 20 minutes to receive my food. When I finally went to ask if my order was ready they said they never received anything. I asked the cashier how, if he had scanned my app and my points were redeemed, how was there no order. He didn’t know what to say and I asked how I could get my points back and he didn’t know how. He just said to contact corporate. This is truly upsetting as I waited for over 30 minutes of my lunch time, received no food, and was not given a solution. I asked if I could get corporates phone number and he said that they didn’t have it. This is unacceptable, I am paying customer and in order to receive that offer I’ve had to spend over $100. Very unprofessional behavior from the staff at this restaurant. I would like to receive my points back to be used at a different location. After all this I lost my lunch break and didn’t have time to get anything else to eat. This will be the last time I buy anything from this location.
