Best L & L bbq out there there’s many but these guys put quality in there’s they are not all the same they marinate the beef so good here and its so delicious I been coming here for years . Dania is been there for 7 plus years and she always so kind and she will take care of you weather online order or in person. Miguel the cook in the back makes the best food hes amazing. Definitely recommend for you to come here its worth every penny.. yummm would take a puc but ate all my food. Thank you for amazing service always.

My son and I had been running around working all day and he said he was hungry for something different. I immediately remembered L&L being one of my go-to stops back in the day and told him we would check it out. Wow! Still so good!
We picked up a couple musubis that HIT! Had to go back in and have him try a few other items including their Mac salad which is still insanely good! We have been back a few times and now the family knows what I’m bringing home when they tell me they’re hungry.
They were great back in the day and still great! Absolutely recommend because even if you’re not sold on your first visit, you definitely won’t be disappointed.
Takes me back my extended stays on the big island ️

First … I love L & L. I have been going since I was younger. My favorite is Laulau and Kalua Pork with cabbage.
Employee was pleasant and amazing with what we needed..when I ordered one of my favorite item it wasn’t available till Friday and my daughter wanted a burrito that wasn’t available to the weekend. So we ordered something else.
We got chicken katsu and it was dry and my daughter ordered a burger she was halfway through her burger when she found hair in it.
We ordered Taro Milk tea and it was very watered down. We also got Musubi and I don’t know how you can dry spam, but it was also dry and was disappointed.

Terrible experience.
Called in my order over the phone.
Got there about 10 minutes later and my food was ready like they said it would be.
Then made me stand in line for about 15 minutes waiting for an obnoxious family to do their order while my food just sat there getting cold.
Then I watch as a Grubhub ap driver walks in front of me, gets special treatment and pays and goes, while I’m forced to just stand there and wait still.
Completely unacceptable.
The fact that they couldn’t open a second register and have one of the 5+ employees ring me up is unacceptable customer service.
Got home and my food was cold from the waiting for about 13-14 minutes standing.
Apparently if youre grubhub they know how to take care of you, if youre a paying customer who ordered yourself, well you can just go to hell and wait forever cuz they dont give a damn.
Portion size was low too.

Bathrooms have been super dirty in the past which is always a bummer. Called in an order and Kayla hung up on me and when I called back she laughed a little then proceeded with conversation. Honestly called the El Cajon location because I felt like my food would have been handled correctly.

Totally disappointed with the service. I made an online order for pickup. 1 of the orders was incomplete. I called to let them know that we were missing the beef teriyaki. The young man that answered said they would have a side of beef ready and I explained to him I wasn’t going to go back for something that should have already been in my order to begin with. He replied with oooook. I shouldn’t have to go back for something that should have been there in the first place. Instead I got a response that comes off as ok what do you want me to do about. Totally disappointing as we like this place but of had more then a few messed up orders. My family and I will be taking our business elsewhere.
