Ordered delivery for the katsu chicken and after having the sauce my fave swelled up to what could be a allergic reaction. I’ve had L&L plenty of times at other locations and no issues but once I tried this location it was all hill. I believe the cook tampered with the food or accidentally knocked something in it to make me sick. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this location and possible lawsuit should get this place shutdown!

I’ve never felt the need to review L&L before—after all, it’s like a McDonald’s for Hawaiian food, right? Super consistent, but this location was a mixed bag! My niece wanted a few items, so I called in my order for the BBQ mix plate and 2 spam musubi’s.
Here’s the scoop: the rice-to-spam ratio was a total letdown. It felt like I was eating a mountain of rice with just a hint of spam! I’d recommend skipping the musubi’s altogether and whipping them up at home instead! Fun stop, but not the best if you’re craving a good spam fix!

First AND last time I come to this specific location. My fried shrimp tasted undercooked inside. It tasted either old or as if the batter was not mixed well with water & it had lumps of powder. Really strange. I had to eat the shrimp alone. Ruined my lunch.

Had my husband pick us up some food(katsu fish plate) only to have been served spoiled fish. It’s no way they couldn’t see nor smell that it was rotten before coating and frying. I called to notify them only to be told that you have to bring the entire Plate back for a refund. SO I have to ride back to Long Beach from orange county with the smell of spoiled fish. Smh

This place is great, although it can take a while to have it made since it is made there an then when you order. I do have to say for the price they give you a very good portion. And its very very delicious. Definitely recommend this place.

I’ve been a customer for not that long but I’m very satisfied. They haven’t had any of my orders wrong. What had me going there was their hamburgers, they taste homemade from a grill. I eventually started to venture into other dishes, chicken katsu, rice, macaroni salad, spam musubi (very filling) and grilled salmon. Covid protocols are still being followed. I started to pre-order because everything is made fresh, usually about 15-30 minutes. Staff is friendly and professional. Prices are reasonable. The quality is good. It’s near a school, public transportation (train and bus), the hospital is across the street, other restaurants are near by, Albertsons is less than 2 minutes away walking, etc. Its a great location. I recommend this place.

I ordered the BBQ mix well done and they gave it to me all burnt. I don’t know what is it with restaurants when people say well done they get mad or annoyed and want to be funny and give the food burnt. The reason why I ordered well done is because last time it was undercooked and today they gave it to me all BURNT. Like can I just get my food well done, well cooked.

Bigger portions than every other L&L I’ve been to. My brother says that’s standard and I’ve been getting gypped but the service was fantastic and the food was amazing!

I got food poisoning from beef bowl. I was so sick I had to go to go to the doctor. I told the owner he’s food got me sick and he didn’t care. BEWARE of what goes on behind the dirty curtains and dirty kitchen . I don’t recommend this place.
