Staying on this side of town temporarily for a little bit and stop by one of my favorite plates for that three combo plate… stop by and give it a try. You won’t regret it. it’s my second time here and I also brought friends and family. They sure did love it!

Great place and wanted to try something different. This was a nice change from what one gets on the strip. Rice was fresh. Meat was tasty. The building itself could use an update but it didn’t detract from the food at all. Grabbed a to go order and can’t back to the hotel. Staff was friendly. From what I could tell it was fairly clean as well. Food was good. Everything tested fresh. Chicken thighs were tasty. The side of macaroni salad was kind of bland and I am not a macaroni salad person anyway. Meat and rice was where it was at.

The hostess today makes it obvious to me she has issues with BLK people.
Read the negative reviews and you will see complaints from Black people about the same issues.
I suspect the host who is usually there has issues as well.
Instead of ordering to go today, after getting weird vibes from her, I decided to stay and see what would happen when more of US came in compared to all of the other customers. She had no issue telling everyone else “greatly appreciate it” and “thank you.” These words seemed to be firmly in her vocabulary… until she is dealing with one of us. In fact, the other staff there that I have observed (not just today) act very reserved at best.
I won’t patronize this place again, it’s like the hostess has contempt for taking my order. Instead of making a fuss about it, which isn’t in my character, I left her a note, as you can see in the pics.
As for the food, it was OK; the portion sizes are fair for the price, but as you can see from the photo, they probably have a roach issue which I took a pic of a couple weeks ago.

I’ve been going to this place since the first opened and it was the first element in town. I just came out. I drive past three other l&l’s. Just because they know how to make the macaroni salad right. But this last time. It tasted disgusting. When you make the macaroni salad after you mince the onions you’re supposed to rinse the junkie juice from the minced onions. They didn’t. And because they didn’t it gives macaroni salad a disgusting acid onion taste. Like the onions have gone bad. What a waste

Don’t be fooled by the exterior or even the interior, they focus on the most important thing which is the food and it’s great, brudda. The bbq beef is the best, chicken is good change of pace, stay away from the bbq spare rib and get extra mac salad. Please note they do not accept the L&L App but I’d still go back anytime.

Large indoor dining area open during pandemic. Friendly service. We ordered a barbecue cheeseburger, the seafood mix and chicken katsu saimin. The seafood mix was served with macaroni salad, which was tasty.The two large mahi mahi pieces were a little thin, but delicious with a very thin batter coating. There were only two scallops, but they were large, cooked properly and also tasted great. Unfortunately, the three shrimp were very overcooked; so disappointing. I couldn’t bite through the hard parts. I could barely get through it – just terrible. Rice was served with the meal, but it was dry and bland. The barbecue cheeseburger was fantastic! One of the better burgers I’ve had in a while. And, the crinkle cut fries that came with it were also very good. The chicken katsu was very good, but the saimin was bland, and had mushy noodles. Everything was cooked fresh to order (except maybe the saimin?). I just wish it was a little better overall. I’ll be back for the burger, but a burger shouldn’t be the best thing at a Hawaiian barbecue.

I usually order from L&L Hawaiian Barbecue once a week, so I know what to expect. This time I ordered extra meat on the side, but it was obvious the beef bowls were short — as if the meat for the “extra” was just taken from the bowls themselves. When I called to address the issue, the person who answered the phone was completely nonchalant, with an “oh well, return it then” attitude. That’s not how loyal customers should be treated. Really disappointed in how this was handled.

Came here for takeout while I was in Vegas since it was one of the few places that still opens late. We got a combo that feeds 4-6 people. Portion was good for the price and the food wasn’t bad. A little on the bland side especially the bbq chicken and short ribs but still good nonetheless. Service wasn’t bad either. Friendly and efficient.

I got loco moco and my friend got chicken Katsu with shrimp. The local Mocho was amazing the Mac salad had a little bit too much mayo or whatever is in there, but it gave mayoie . Atmosphere gets only three stars because this fan was making me frozen.

L&L is L&L. It’s good when you crave it and want it to be. Coming from San Diego, this is the first location I’ve ever seen that has it’s own building. I usually see the shop in a shopping strip connected to something else.
