I really enjoyed my visit to Lizzie’s Coffee! The vibes are super chill and the atmosphere is pleasant. It’s the perfect spot for catching up with a friend. They offer lots of fun holiday drinks (Santa’s Favorite Cookie is a must try!).
Definitely a cute local spot worth stopping by.

Lizzie’s has become one of my most recent finds for coffee that I absolutely adore. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, as are the employees. Their coffee menu and food have become some of my favorites as of late.

If you’ve ever driven down Cox Creek in Florence, AL, you’ve probably noticed Lizzie’s Place Coffee tucked along the way. I’ve passed it many times, always eyeing it and telling myself I should stop in one day. Well, today I finally did, and I’m glad I did—it turned out to be a really chill, laid-back, and comfortable coffee spot that’s worth checking out.

The atmosphere here is inviting and relaxed, exactly the kind of vibe you want when grabbing a coffee to recharge or just hang out. The seating feels very comfy and cozy, with plenty of options to settle into. What stood out to me were the swinging chairs, which not only look cool but make the place feel fun and unique compared to other coffee shops in the area.

As for the drinks, Lizzie’s has a nice selection of coffee and fun specialty options to choose from. The coffee I tried was solid and well-made, definitely something I’d come back for when I’m in the area. It’s the kind of place where you can sip your drink slowly, enjoy the space, and not feel rushed.

One thing I wasn’t as impressed with, though, was the biscotti. It came wrapped and didn’t taste as fresh as the homemade biscotti you find at some other local spots. For a place with such a cozy, community-style atmosphere, I think offering fresh, homemade biscotti or pastries would elevate the experience even more. That said, everything else I noticed—from the setup to the service—was on point.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, which added to the cozy feel of the café. It’s the kind of place where you can come to get a boost of energy, do some work, or just relax and socialize with friends.

Overall, Lizzie’s Place Coffee is a cool little gem on Cox Creek. With its comfy seating (especially those swinging chairs), good drinks, and friendly vibe, it’s definitely worth stopping in. If they ever switch to homemade biscotti or more fresh pastry options, this place could easily become one of the best coffee stops in Florence.

My sister and I had a very nice time there. It was very pleasing to the eye to look around. The seating was comfortable. We could hear ourself talk and we really enjoyed the coffee. I do recommend it. It’s just a very welcoming place. I’m glad we were able to check it out.

Cute little gem!
This spot took me by surprise as we stopped in spontaneously on route to work. Knowing nothing about it, we went in for quick caffeine to go.

Vintage furnishings welcome you in warmly like you’re stepping into an old friend’s living room. And they’ve cleverly created several small, cozy spaces throughout a relatively small footprint, making you feel like you could easily go unbothered here for hours.

After a friendly hello from the ladies behind the counter, I ordered two hot chai lattes after giving up on finding it on the menu. I can’t decide if the menu was too small or too crowded for me to find the drink I was looking for, but fortunately they were happy and able to accommodate. Next time, I’ll take my time to study all they have to offer.

While waiting, I perused the sundries and ceramics for sale along the walls: well displayed on shelves front to back, which was a delight.

The drinks arrived with a smile, and the Chai was quite tasty! It was an unusual blend of spices, nice and piping hot, and I greatly enjoyed it.

It’s difficult to pack that much charm into a small space, but they’ve been successful. I look forward to returning to try something to snack on, purchase a hand-made tea cup and take some pics of the warm and inviting space.

Well done!

Came in mid-week around 7 pm and there were No other customers in the store. It’s my First time visiting, the atmosphere felt great and decor is perfect. I love the way this store is decorated and I was certain this would be my new coffee spot. I ordered 2 small drinks and with an 18% tip it was only $6 which is a great price. My husband got a black coffee and I got a pumpkin spice latte. His coffee was cold and my latte was mostly foam and didn’t taste like pumpkin. I don’t care for the cups either. Maybe I will come back and try again

I love the monthly coffee flavors; they are always so creative and delicious! The coffee shop is the perfect place to sip alone or with friends. Highly recommend the chocolate croissants and breakfast sandwiches! One of my favorite things is how well this local small business supports and sponsors schools in our community. Love Lizzie’s Place!

Me and my husband had an evening date today. As an Asian we found most of the coffee places around in America overly sweet and not so much option. But this place was on point. Our drinks wasn’t overly sweet. My husband got a hibiscus tea. The sweet girl working alone she even customized his tea with putting some ginger on the tea as he asked for. I got Lizzie’s special. It was creamy not watery as I found other places. And it was perfect amount of sweet!!! I couldn’t take any pictures because I was overly mesmerized by the decoration. For some snacks I got some egg bites and a open sandwich turkey and brie with jalapeno preservatives as far as I remember. That sandwich was really good. It was sweet and salty. This place brought some old memories from my country. I will be visiting this place often for studying and decompressing. And the girl that was working she was working alone today. But dang she was fast. Now I got a place in florence where i can decompress when I will get overwhelmed by my studies after a week. I just wish it was a bit closer to UNA. Thank you for such great coffee place.

Stopped by while we were in town, and it did not disappoint! Very cozy and chill atmosphere. One of the owners served us, and he was so friendly and informative. I was really hoping to meet Lizzy, but she wasn’t there that day .
I had the pumpkin spice blondie with oat milk. The coffee itself is fantastic, but I know now to ask for less sweet . My husband ordered a strawberries and cream Red Bull, and it was delicious!
I love that local artists/vendors have work in the shop. It’s great when the community supports each other!
This is definitely on our favorite coffee shop list. We will be sure to stop by anytime we’re in town. Hopefully, we’ll catch Lizzie there next time!
