Our Caboose Bar in the back is built out of railroad ties! We provide an experience, where people can once again feel as if they are on a train passing through Marengo, into a journey across the country. Food was very good! Amongst our party we had: burgers, pork tenderloin sandwich, and grilled cheese. Service was excellent. Very clean from the restaurant to the bathrooms. Decor was cool. Was just like sitting inside a train with TVs playing where the train window would be.

Great food & an awesome atmosphere! We stopped in for lunch and were seated quickly. Cool little booths that appear to be old school bus seats. Each booth had a TV and window dressing to give you the impression of rolling down the tracks.
We got a burger and a tenderloin, both were good. Burger was juicy and had a good bun. The tenderloin was also good, but it was thick; not the thin, size of your plate, style I prefer.
The fries are fantastic, and the cheese curds are a must for an appetizer.
Best part, prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food.
There isn’t much space for parties larger than 2 adults.
We will definitely be coming back to try the supper menu.

Went for the prime rib special. Save the trip. Prime rib was obviously sliced with a meat slicer to approximately 3/16th of an inch, then overcooked on the flat top. $18 for a sandwich portion. Service was good, wait staff just needs a little more time to get to the next level. Our waitress was really good just inexperienced. Cute place with a lot of potential. Just need to improve a lot on the food quality.

Fun ambiance! Loved that each booth has their own TV with train window footage to immerse patrons in the experience. Food and drinks were both delicious. Definitely recommend to anyone within driving distance.

I had the opportunity to meet Lizzie while dining tonight and she is wonderful. The passion she poured into this place shines as you look around and take it all in. The attention to detail makes it a memorable experience – everything from the “outside” window views to an actual train whistle you can blow at the front!
There were so many enticing options on both the food and drink menus, I can’t wait to try it all. I will definitely be returning.

Loved everything about it! Great atmosphere with a great train car theme. Our group had the tenderloin sandwich, The Dip, Chicken Nacho’s and the roast beef & mashed potato plate and evening was amazing!! The service was also quick and friendly! We’ll definitely come back!!
