NOW OPEN. Under new ownership, local celebrity chef Billy Trudsoe who you saw on Hells Kitchen “battle of the ages,” season 21 on the Fox network has taken over this historic restaurant. You can try Chef’s world famous, “black forest chicken” his signature dish he presented to Gordon Ramsay. Also, his diver scallops which helped seal a big win for the blue team during a challenge. Chef Billy’s team has developed an upscale casual dining concept right here, in the heart of Warrensburg , New York. Building his brand “BTrue’s Mad Flava,” our restaurant will offer creative dishes for everyone. Lizzie Keays Kitchen & Cocktails is a great spot! We enjoyed a delicious dinner, starting with the signature chicken wings—so good they disappeared before we could take photos. For mains, we ordered the chicken parm and another pasta dish, both absolutely delicious. The service was great: friendly, attentive, and spot-on with recommendations. If you’re in the area, this is an excellent option. Plus, they offer live music, which adds to the fun atmosphere.

We stopped in for Sunday dinner a few weeks ago and it was our favorite overall dining experience of 2025. As foodies and wine enthusiasts, we like to travel and dine out often but seldom write reviews. Lizzie Keys deserves to be recognized. The ambience of the dining room was relaxed, warm and inviting. The hospitality from Nick who greeted us as we entered and took care of us the entire evening was first class. Chef Billy’s menu had a nice selection of interesting and flavorful options and a small but well curated list of wines to match the dishes. After a delicious four course meal, Chef Billy arrived table side and graciously thanked us for coming. We finished the evening with a perfectly crafted Espresso Martini and a promise to return again very soon!

This place deserves a line out the door! Everything was phenomenal. I had the lobster mac & cheese, and it absolutely delivered—it was packed with lobster, the pasta-to-meat ratio was spot on, and the cheese sauce was perfectly balanced without being overwhelming. My husband also thoroughly enjoyed the braised short ribs. An incredible meal all around!

We had an incredible meal at Lizzie Keays in Warrensburg today! The Bali spiced fried rice was on point and if you like spicy food this is one of the best dishes in the 518. The service by Nick was perfect. Check this place out on the way back from Gore or for a leisurely lunch or dinner!

This place is a MUST GO! My fiancé and I were up in the Lake George area for Winter Carnival and we are SO happy we found this gem. Billy, the owner and chef, who has been featured on Hells Kitchen, took over 3 years. His food is phenomenal. His desserts…are even better (the crème brûlée donut lasted about 30 seconds). Nick, the bartender and manager, is awesome. Very genuine, attentive, and dedicated. Amazing drinks, amazing food, amazing ambiance, amazing people. Go check it out yourself…you won’t regret it!

Had an amazing dinner tonight. Food was spectacular! Atmosphere was great! All of the staff we interacted with were super friendly. Well worth the 45 minute drive for us, and we will absolutely be back! Couldn’t get a photo of the Brie appetizer before my 18 year old dug into it!

For a small-town restaurant, this place truly exceeded expectations. The food, drinks, and service were all amazing. Our group of four had a fantastic time from start to finish. Our waiter was incredible—super helpful, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The chef cooked everything perfectly, especially the filet… I didn’t even need a knife. If you’re looking for a spot that delivers great food and top-notch service, this is it. Highly recommend!

The food was quite good, but unfortunately the service didn’t match the quality of the meal. It wasn’t busy, yet our server, Melissa, seemed disengaged. Another staff member actually brought our food, and Melissa never returned to check on us—no offer for additional drinks, no questions about dessert, and not even a quick check-in to see if we were enjoying our meal. She only reappeared after we had completely finished. I’d consider coming back, but I’d definitely hope for a different server next time. Had live music was entertaining.

cute dinner spot in lake george with a relaxed vibe. we got the risotto, scallop pasta, and ravioli – all super rich and satisfying. great option after a day at the lake or hiking nearby. friendly staff and cozy inside. we walked in and there was plenty of space. home town feel.
