We ordered the hot Tamales and they had a great ratio of meat and masa. They were not dry and had a really good flavor. I just wish they were a little more spicy.

Good tamales. Always fresh and warm when you pick them up. Good masa. Good meat. Spicy are the best. Each dozen packaged in bundles of 6. Eat them alone or as a meal. Enjoy!

They have an exhaust fan that they run during the night and it disturbs the neighborhood. When trying to ask them if they can shut it off at night they pretend not to speak English until the cops and noise ordinance is mentioned. Noise ordinance is from 7pm-7am. I’ve also heard their tamales don’t have enough filling and are all masa. Horrible people who feed on stereotypes. Pun intended.

This place has the BEST tasting tamales! Even over the years the quality hasn’t changed. Only thing I would change is the way they wrap the tamales in the husks. It Makes it hard to unwrap them. I just want to get to the yummy goodness!

First time trying this place out, I had high hopes but I was really let down!, the Tamale’s looked good at first glance, once you get through a bunch of oja’s everything falls apart, it just crumbles, you can’t pick up and eat, I ordered a dozen and each one had to be eaten with a fork. The meat had good flavor, the masa and the way they wrap Tamale’s needs lots of work, Delicia’s around the corner on sante fe is a little better at least when you unwrap the Tamale you have a whole Tamale and not a big mess. At $22 a dozen not worth it, definitely won’t be back.

Really good tamales! Definitely would recommend the hot ones over mild but even the mild ones are tasty. The only thing is that there is more masa than meat but its not a deal breaker!

These are amazing exactly what I was craving, the hot aren’t very hot but nice flavor a lot of masa isn’t a bad thing to me cause I love it but $20 is a little more than I was expecting to pay. I think theres enough meat personally, they were super warm the person working was nice and I got it all really quickly.

Love, love Liz”s tamales!!!! My husband will go in to buy them and when he comes out we eat one right away. We don’t go anywhere else to buy tamales and I always recommend Liz”s to everyone!! Reasonable price also! So go tomorrow and pick up half a dozen or a dozen. You will be glad you did.
