Food was excellent. This was my first time eating here. Ordered a ham and cheese omelette with ranch & side of sausage. At first I was disappointed in the ham being like hash. But the more I had the more I liked it. Ham wasn’t dry. I still prefer chucks of ham. Ranch was excellent. The hash browns were more like potato pancakes. Will go back again.

I ordered Liz’s ham special. Nice diner, friendly staff my portion was unbelievable for $6.75. It’s a local owned establishment, which I like. I ALWAYS like to eat somewhere where the wait staff is happy, this was one of those places. The special board gave a lot of options at good prices too.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The waitress & the food was god awful. I ordered a cup of soup, that was obviously forgotten about and I had to remind the waitress the one and only time she checked out table for drink refills. 5 minutes after I Received my soup (which was not even close to lukewarm, our food was served. I ordered the corned beef hash breakfast with two hard boiled eggs and white toast. When she set my corned beef hash & toast down, it could’ve been assumed that my food was forgotten about on the grill. The corned beef hash was so over cooked it was inedible. Toast was black. And the hard boiled eggs were pipping hot as if they literally just boiled them and didn’t chill them. I would’ve been fine asking for a replacement meal or sending it back, but our waitress didn’t check on us. Not once. It was absolutely ridiculous. I will not be returning due to the lack of service and absolutely horrible food. It wasn’t even worth the “cheap and convenient” food.

Wow, if you want a big breakfast for a very reasonable price I highly recommend this restaurant. And our waitress was welcoming with a smile. I don’t know about you but I prefer staff who enjoy what they are doing over wait staff who offer the corporate scripted servie lines which seldom seem genuine.

It’s been probably 13yrs since I was last here. The food and service are just as good as then. Top notch. The Reuben is of the best around. Almost on par with Jimmy D’s.
