Went there last Fri after reading reviews won’t be going back..clam chowder soup was tasteless..barely any class. Rolls were good. Our dirty dishes were never cleared. Got fish with shrimp the shrimp were frozen the fish was just ok one piece was the size of my baby finger. Waitress forgot my daughter’s dinner she got broiled cod all small bite size pieces her food came and was barely warm. Water never refilled without having to ask.

I was hired to photograph some menu items. The owner Stephen and his wife have worked here for 22 years and this is where they met. He started as a busboy and moved up to cook then owner about 3 years ago. When Covid struck, all hands on deck and his wife and kids worked hard to keep things going. They owe much of their success to a loyal customer base. Consistency and freshness seems to be their redeeming quality. I had the broasted chicken, avocado salad and apple pie. All were so tasty, filling and fresh.

This place is really Cozy! Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Also if you come in on Sundays THEY HAVE A BREAKFAST BUFFET for 15.99 if I’m not mistaken. I ended up just getting a omlette and hashbrowns instead .. I never had hasbrowns made like this… and they taste super good! If you in a area you should legit give it a try 🙂

Livonia Town grill is definitely the hot spot for the 70+ year old crowd in the Livonia area! They have a daily soup bar that is included with most meals. They also have a great selection of homemade desserts! The place is always well kept and clean inside and the food is what you would expect from a local dinner. We’ve dined here over the years. It’s a family-style restaurant with a decent menu that addresses most tastes. It doesn’t serve alcohol, so the prices are more affordable than the big name restaurants, which is exactly what many people want.

We waited a few minutes to be seated, it was a normal wait time. The hostess takes care of seating, answering calls, carryout and cashing out checks…that’s alot. We ordered our drinks, food. Our food came, our server never checked back, refilled our drinks. Our dirty plates were taken by someone else. I asked another server walking by for a box and after waiting a long time, 20 to 30 minutes we had to ask for our bill. We have been here many times, have seen this server before (so shes not new) We would have had dessert if maybe we had been asked. We saw tables around us, order, get their food and check and leave while we were waiting for drink refills, then our check.The worst service we have ever had there. I used to be in food service and there was no reason for the terrible service, or lack there of. We ordered off the menu, no substitutions or special requests. When she dropped off the bill no apology was made…it was a quick “thank you, goodbye.” I will request a different server when we go again.
