What an excellent find I came across on Maps. We didn’t get to go beyond Florence this trip, but we wanted to try to find excellent pizza during our brief Italy visit. This spot did not disappoint! The crust was fluffy and light, very addicting. I highly recommend the ham and burrata, the salty bites were amazing. They gave a lot of ham! I’ve had this before in other places but it was really great here. The price was great, staff was very nice. We ended up here in the early evening and it was empty but it began to fill up quickly. I suspect that at night, it might be packed so maybe call in advance to check for space. I will come back next time I visit for sure.

Overall, finding a great place in Italy is super difficult esp in tourist cities. Even “famous” ones aren’t good as they just become a marketing machine and start caring less about quality. As a NYer , pizza is one of my favorite foods and I’m so happy we ran into this place after doing lots of research. Foremost, it’s a small place, which is a good sign. And more I observed their clientele it was a good mix of foreigners and tourists. And service? Impeccable! Quality, top notch! Besides Calabria where many NY Italian immigrants are from, this was the closest to NY pizza I’ve had. Mild in taste, crispy on the outside, but chewy (in a good way) and soft in the inside. It was sooo good that went back there again. We highly recommend this place. Maybe not a bad idea, instead of going to famous touristy places, give place a try. Thank you guys for having us 🙂

The staff where super friendly, welcoming and professional! The pizza came out to me before I knew it and I absolutely demolished it!

As pointed out by others, the service here is poor and the waiter seems annoyed as long as we have request that is not upon her wish. But to be fair, the pizza is good. So come if you want your mood ruined for the day. For the owner, no need to comment “this is isolated case as there are other 3000 good reviews”., there are indeed many reviews complaining you guys attitude.

It’s the best pizza of my life!! I’ve had pizzas in Milan, Venice, Rome.. even tried Pizza Studio Temaki in Tokyo but nothing can beat this. Ordered the Calabrese for take out and ate it in our hotel across the road. I will come back to Florence for this pizzeria.

This place is great! The service is so kind and accommodating. They even helped with a dairy allergy and somehow made a delicious no cheese pizza. You can see them fresh rolling the dough for your pizza, fresh slicing the meats and cheeses. And then they woodfire cook it. You’ll enjoy!

Top rated pizzeria in Florence and yes it is , don’t go without reservation else you need to wait . Small cosy place – 5 minutes walk from the SMN station , they serve the best wood fire pizza’s in the town .
