We’re Livingston’s Soda Fountain and Grill, and we’ve been a premier American restaurant in Brownsville, TN, since 2022. We’re a 1950’s diner that specializes in pattied burgers, hand dipped fried items, homemade dressings, and specialty milkshakes. Our restaurant offers wraps, ribeye steak, coffee, hot chicken, and fries amongst other classic options. Stopped in here on a Saturday morning. Super cute decor. Takes you back in time.
Great decor. Cool soda fountain.
Loved the fried mushrooms. (Light batter). Ordered the Nashville hot chicken with fries. (Not bad -not quite Nashville hot). We did order a cocktail a piece. The grandarita was small but quite tasty. (Just enough). We enjoyed the fries as well.
Servers were friendly.
Great spot -worth the stop.

This little gem delivers big time! A family travel vacation led us to stop at this location. The pictures from the other reviews and the menu options provided enough incentive to give it a try. Great food! Great service! Lots of character. I highly recommend stopping here to eat if you are unsure. The waitstaff and the owner are very friendly and it was an awesome experience

A must visit when in Brownsville. The pot roast, mashed potatoes, green beans, and carrots were phenomenal! Reminded me of my late grandmother’s cooking. 100% soda shop with home cooking. Vanessa is super sweet and welcoming. You’re never a stranger there.

We were passing through Tennessee and decided to stop at this really cute soda fountain & grill. The atmosphere was really cool, comforting and uplifting. Very clean with a great vibe. Service was wonderful and the food came out very timely. The food was absolutely delicious and amazing. We got the meat loaf, mashed potatoes, green beans as well as chicken strips and fries. Every bit of it had that custom home cooking flavor.
Also had the Delta Dawn specialty shake, oh my….. delicious!!!!
This place was just awesome! Wish we lived closer to frequent it. But whenever coming through the area, we will be back!!! Don’t miss out on this great place!

Overall? Pretty good, especially the shake. The style of the restaurant is the best part. The food was humble, reminded me of something I’d make at home, and it filled my stomach when I was hungry.

Let me tell you. The service was amazing. Such friendly staff made sure that I didn’t need a single thing. Great prices! The food…..I will drive the 45 minutes from my house back to here just to try more!

One of the best soda shops I have seen. I was passing through from Memphis to Indiana and stopped by for lunch. What a great atmosphere and wonderful recreation of the classic soda shop. Not to mention, the food was great too and the service wonderful. If you’re in the area or passing through, I highly recommend stopping in and saying hello.

ABSOLUTELY CHARMING!!! My daughter and I were passing through Brownsville and decided to stop for brunch at Livingtons. Chloe, our server, was so kind and attentive, as was every member of the staff. The food was delicious! Best beignets around! And, my daughter was over the top about the chicken tenders and hot chocolate. Can’t say enough nice things. This place is about an hour away from us, but would be worth a Sunday afternoon drive. Wish we could give them 10 stars!!!

My fiance and I ate here for the first time for a late Valentine’s Day date and we had a great time! We’re originally from Dyer County and just moved to Crockett County back in April and have been trying to find small gems in or around the area and we landed on Livingston’s out in Brownsville! The atmosphere was nice and friendly, service was great and attentive, the food was to die for, and all around a clean and lively environment! My fiance ordered their grilled chicken sandwich with a side of fries and scrambled eggs, whereas I ordered the Brunch Blues Fries with a Dandy milkshake! We both cleared our plates and walked out with a full gut! We will be coming back for sure and recommend it to anybody!!
