If you’re looking for great food and environment, visit Live Oaks in Auburn, Alabama. The indoor seating is beautiful but the outdoor ambiance is what you want. Enjoy a cool Alabama breeze as your tastebuds surrender to onslaught of flavor from the region’s favorite foods. I’ve had the Shrimp-n-grits, fried chicken, and pork chops but the bread pudding is my favorite. Make sure you try a sweet treat when you stop by. We started off with the mac n cheese bites which were absolutely amazing and some great alcoholic beverages. My new favorite….Not Your Toomers Lemonade. AWESOME!!! Then we moved to “The Burger” and fries! Look how delicious. The second entree was the salmon which was also very tasty. Great friendly staff and service. Very helpful.

Entrees were underwhelming. Not bad but not what I was expecting. Our bread pudding was fantastic! The service was good, drinks were well made. Will definitely go back but will probably just stick with drinks and an appetizer and dessert.

I ordered a black and bleu salad with 5oz filet mignon medium rare, it came out well done… I can’t believe they even served it. Although they made it right and replaced it after I complained to the waiter, the fact that it made it past the cook AND the waiter really speaks to the level of quality they’re willing to plate. The others in our party had mixed reviews.

I didn’t realize this was a strictly outside location, but it was such a nice day I didn’t mind! There wasn’t a wait at all, so I loved that on a Friday night, got seated, but I hated how long it took for my waiter to acknowledge our table. But once he got to our table I understood why. His name was Eric and he was new and he was so kind! We had a few mishaps, but he handled them great! The food took a long time, but it was because they were short staffed. I got crab cakes and spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer. They were a bit thin, but so good and way more sauce than other people give. And the dip was yummy too!

Food was lackluster and came with only half the ingredients advertised. Took forever for the food to come out. Restaurant was dirty and atmosphere was off. None of the staff wanted to be there. Would have been okay for a dive bar, but this place pretends to be something it’s not.

Auburn College town has some of the most unique eateries. Live Oaks really put the show on for the crowd. Full flat screen tv units, the crowd was loving it. Sports of course. The waitress were on their game, shout out to Ann.
