Always a great experience at Liv. Have been here several times whenever we stay at the hotel. Service is always excellent. Lola was our server this time and Eddie assisted.
Start off with hot towels, then the amuse-bouche with complementary bread with 3 spreads (butternut squash hummus, whipped butter & sunflower oil with balsamic vinegar) to tease our appetite.
We shared a Cesar salad which is a good portion for it being split. After the salad came the lemon sorbet palette cleanser before the main course arrived.
Main course was:
ribeye: tender, juicy meaty goodness. Asparagus and carrot vegetables with mashed potatoes was also good. The mushrooms flavour were not to my liking.
rack of lamb: asked for less salt so the lamb was perfect. The risotto unfortunately was much too salty so didn’t eat it.
Mochi cake: not to our liking. Lola was kind enough to remove it from the bill.
The mini ice cream in a dark chocolate cup is delicious
Overall a lovely relaxing dinner. We will be back.

I recently dined at Liv restaurant, located within the White Oaks Resort & Spa, and I can’t recommend it enough. The food was absolutely fantastic, showcasing a delightful range of flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the experience, with a spectacular setting that perfectly complements the culinary offerings.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly Kelly, who was incredibly attentive and made sure our dining experience was nothing short of excellent.

This Sunday I enjoyed the weekend breakfast Buffet at Liv restaurant that is located within the White Oaks Conference resort and Spa Hotel.
The Service was excellent from my friendly, attentive waitress named Ayla.
She started off our dining experience with a warm welcome and a smoothie special in a cute little cup.
I very much enjoyed the made to order omelette, fresh pancake and a unique offering of whipped Maple butter for my toast.
I only put it on half my toast because it was new to me and incase it was a miss as I can be finicky with butter but it was absolutely amazing!
I went back to toast another piece of bread and smothered that heavenly spread on thick!
There are many drinks to choose from included in the buffet and I chose the raspberry 2% milk that I also enjoyed for the first time.
A few firsts for me and glad I tried.
The atmosphere was very nice and the white table linens are always a classy touch.
I had a nice view of the hotels courtyard from my table.

Our annual pre-Christmas night out to our favourite upscale restaurant did not disappoint! Service was excellent, food and wine wonderful, and the experience is second to none. Highly recommend!

Booked a last minute solo reservation to have dinner a Liv on a weekday. WOW!!! From the time I arrived to the end of the meal, the service was 5 stars. Hot towel, amuse-bouche, palette cleanser and the ribeye….this dinner was an experience and worth the $$$. Cynthia was AMAZING and attentive.

Went out for dinner with a friend, they had a steak special for the evening that sounded amazing when the server described it to me! I want to add the service was amazing down to the hosts/servers all kind, attentive, and friendly!
I usually never leave bad reviews however when it comes to “fine dining” i really do believe if you are charging $70 for an entree you absolutely have to do it right. I ordered a medium cook which I always order for steak! Unfortunately it arrived well done and was very tough and hard to cut into. I really hate to complain but i believe it was the restaurant manager who came over to see how everything was, i told her i felt terrible and i hate to waste but i asked for a medium cook, she was very kind and said do not feel bad we will make a new one. Unfortunately when it arrived it had the same cook on it, i ate it and thanked them! The waitress told me when she brought the new steak back to the table they take temperature everytime to identify the cook on it, i feel that comment was not needed because it implies the first cook i received was correct, unfortunately neither were.
I believe reviews are an opportunity for learning and growth! My friend really enjoyed her pasta dish, and the appetizers we had were fantastic!

Came to this restaurant for special birthday dinner celebration with friends. When we arrived to Liv restaurant our attendant greeted us witch champagne flutes for the birthday celebration. Our dinner was
served fresh and delicious. The staff went above and beyond to make each lady their own special drink they requested as well as non alcoholic beverages that tasted incredible. We stayed a little longer than the restaurant’s schedule allowed and yet the staff was very patient and polite and not once mentioned that we were supposed to leave long time ago. We were not kicked out and I truly appreciate the staff’s positive attitude and politeness. I wish I had grabbed their names to give them the proper mentioning.
I had an amazing experience at this place and will definitely come back again soon. If you want to celebrate special occasion this is the place to visit and stay for the night or longer.

We very much enjoyed our delicious Table for 2 dinner at the White Oaks. I have to start out by saying that it has been a very long time that we experienced this outstanding level of service and it was greatly appreciated. We were not staying at the hotel but drove in for dinner from NOTL. When we walked into the hotel an employee saw that we were trying to figure out where to find the restaurant and came over and walked us to the restaurant, chatting along the way. He introduced us to the hostess and asked that we be seated by the window so we could overlook the beautiful gardens. Our server Heni was friendly, inquisitive, attentive and a complete delight. Along with Matthew they both made the evening special. A manager also came to ask how dinner was going and a stool was brought out for all the ladies to put their purses on. For the Table for 2 we each had a choice of appetizer, main and dessert. As well there was an amuse bouche and a sorbet palate cleanser included. We had the mussels in a tomato cream sauce and tomato fennel salad for starters. The cavatelli with pesto, chicken and asparagus and flat iron steak with chimichurri and roasted veg. for entrees and the white chocolate pistachio tart and churro cheesecake for dessert. Everything was fresh and tasty and presented beautifully. The portions were generous and we were stuffed by the end. Just an FYI we forgot to take pics until after we started eating so the plates are missing food. The next time we are in the area we will definitely be going back to LIV for dinner.

My wife and I went to have a spa day and brunch to celebrate our anniversary, we had the three eggs and the broken eggs they were amazing , but their pancakes were just perfect!
Laura our server was amazing and Mike at the main entrance (lobby) who guided us through the resort was so friendly and helpful.
This is now our favourite spot to go, we’re going back for my birthday.
