We got honey chicken, broccoli in spicy garlic sauce, and lo mein. All were fresh and delicious. My only wish is that the broccoli was spicier, but it was still very hood. They also gave us free veggie rolls and they were great too! Portions and prices were good too. Very friendly atmosphere as well. This was our first time ordering from here, but it definitely won’t be the last!

I HIGHLY recommend this place! The crab Rangoon is the BEST I’ve ever had! It’s seriously so satisfyingly light and crispy. Superb! The tofu is great! Never had it before, but I thought I would try it because it was only a dollar. It’s good! Idk how they stuff SO much food in the containers, but portions are plenty and more! I am not from around here, never heard of this place, I just took a chance on an unknown restaurant. I’m completely satisfied. I have plenty left over for lunch at work tomorrow! Thank you!

I LOVE Liu’s Garden. I have been coming here since I was about 4 and the service has always been absolutely amazing. I love their food and their prices are very good for the quantity and quality. Sometimes I dine in, but just know they don’t have a lot of seating and it’s a VERY old spot so don’t expect a lot of glitz and glamor. I don’t feel like that should matter much anyway because it should be about the food! If you want to eat good Asian cuisine and get good service, you’ve found a great spot.

My whole family/friend group loves this place! We order from them at least once a week! Their hot and sour soup especially is my favorite food ever!! I think several of my esteemed fellow reviewers seem to expect a Michelin Star dining experience from a beloved small local restaurant which is unrealistic….take a Louisville gem for what it is and enjoy the awesome food and very nice employees!!

So – first time visitor…
I was a bit surprised – clearly with covid they are focused on take-out. The booths were mostly full of stuff…
The counter was cluttered, and from walk in to being attended to was over 5mins. 10mins after the end of “ready” period was when my food came to the counter.
Rice, both steamed and fried – very good. Frankly awesome…
Bourbon chicken, not so good…
Not sweet, not tender (actually burnt/overcooked) to the point I just stopped eating it.
Before I did, I poured off a ton of liquid (mostly water not sauce for sure). And the portion was lacking in quantity (but if the quality is lacking – quantity means nothing).
As a visitor to the area, I was expecting a whole lot more from a 4.3 rated restaurant.

Retired a few years ago and this was a weekly stop for lunch when I was working and my office was nearby. The food and service were predictably great. Since I hadn’t eaten there in several years I decided to try it today. Very disappointed. There were no other diners while I was there (red flag) and only one carry out customer came in the whole time. The place felt dirty and there were supplies stacked in seats. Numerous hand-written signs covered the walls.
The food arrived on a paper plate and came with a plastic fork. When I dine in I expect plates and silverware at the minimum. This is not the mall food court.
The food was tasteless except for the “medium spicy” I requested. Noodles were overcooked to the point they were soggy. The usual staff was no longer there and the new staff have apparently made some changes that have contributed to a decline. I still left a generous tip because I know the restaurant business is hard work. But… If you’re looking for a nice lunch with good food, good service and a little atmosphere, this isn’t it. Keep driving.

Ordered in door dash. Waited more than 2 hours. Called the restaurant several times to verify they got our order. Kept getting the runaround. I will never attempt to order food from there again. Rude, more than 2 hours and we had to cancel. Zero out of ten, do not recommend.

Best Chinese food we have had in louisville. We have lived here for 3 years now and almost gave up on Chinese food. Glad we decided to give it one more try.

Worst fried dumplings ive ever tasted. I think they actually put them in deep fryer as to being pan fried. Very greasy.
