We had a good experience here last year, which is why we returned. Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing.
During peak dining hours, there was only one other table occupied — in hindsight, that should have been a red flag. We paid nearly $100 for a fried fish that was undercooked. The outside was fried, but the inside was still pink, as if it hadn’t been fully thawed. After the meal, we both felt unwell and experienced stomach issues.
The service made things worse. Staff appeared disengaged and were focused on their phones rather than attending to customers.
The sign on the door has said “soft opening” since last year. Combined with what we were told about the restaurant changing names multiple times, it gives the impression that they may be trying to appear newly opened.
We won’t be returning.

My friend Bobby Yang brought me here to this Amazing place. The food was delicious, savory and tasty. The service was quick attentive, prompt even when it was busy. We had a couple different choices of skewers and above all, the star of the show was the bbq fish. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese flavors, I recommend this place.

The portion came in small cut pieces with very little actual fish — most of it was dry, dark, and barely edible. When we dined in before, it came as a whole fish and was much better.
The delivery version was nothing like that and the quality was unacceptable!

Great food and friendly service. We usually order to-go from them, and came here for the BBQ fish, and it was delicious—served hot, well-seasoned, and in a generous portion. We really enjoyed it and would definitely come back.

Classic roast fish and not too salty Chinese style barbecue. The food doesn’t exceed my expectations.
Their service is amazing: they provide small apron to protect your clothes from roast stuff, and when you ask for to go, they carefully wrap the box to avoid leaking of soup.

Exceptional dining experience! From the moment we stepped in, the service was impeccable – we were seated promptly and attended to with warmth and efficiency. The food was nothing short of fantastic; each dish, from the tender pork belly skewer to the flavorful beef and tendon skewers, and the delightful fish ball skewers, was a culinary delight. The seaweed salad and eggplant complemented the skewers perfectly. What truly impressed us was not just the quality of the food but also the fair pricing, making it an excellent value for the delicious meal we enjoyed. We got the cod roast fish absolutely D-E-L-I-S-I-O-U-S!! The fish meat is super tender and taste fresh. The fish had plenty of meat for 2! We got added in tofu, cabbage, quail eggs, rice cake. There were also a couple items that were out of stock the waiter was super knowledgeable in letting us know which items were out.
We also got lamb skewer, chives, and scallion pancake appetizers.
Lamb skewers SUPER tender and yummy. Best skewers in the bay!!! The chives were ok, some parts were kinda on the raw side but still decent.
The scallion pancakes very tasty! Light crunch and not too oily. Overall everything was just the right amount of oil, could be less but ok!

Had the chicken skins, fishballs and beef skewers. The flavor has a combo of sweet, chili spice, and salty. More pricey than other skewer places I’ve been but I like the seasoning here better. The beef could be more tender, it’s more chewy here compared to other resto. They also have more variety of dishes like grilled fish, different fried rice and soups.

First time here, very impressed. We’ve ordered the roast black cod and oyster , so delicious!!! They also gave us some disposable apron,so that it won’t spill on our clothes, that’s really sweet of them. Highly recommended!!!
