Great little establishment. Would recommend to anyone coming through this small town. Great service and even better food . I would definitely recommend the Walleye . The way it was lightly battered allowed the true taste of the fish come through. You can taste a hint of lemon pepper which my pallets enjoyed . Will definitely come back when passing through.

I’m first going to start by saying, THEY TAKE food from your food in the window and eat it before taking it out I’ve seen it happen when walking by to the bar, waiters seem to forget about you from time to time, and during fly season they don’t know how to control them so there’s flys in your food, flying around you EVERYWHERE. And my pizza was served to me burnt by a blonde ish waiter. You guys need to get your restaurant in check and do better. They also don’t know how to control their drunks in the bar.

Went in for food, decided to gamble while I waited. I won $300, and returned to the bar just in time for my food that was prepared perfectly. The bartender was friendly, the old guys to my right had great stories. I left Little’s bar and grill feeling like I had eaten with family and scored some cash.

A class one restaurant tucked away from highway. But it is worth a drive, if you like delicious local food.
Amazing pictures and history hanging on the walls, awesome service and yummy food.
** Best Coleslaw **
I ordered fleischkeuchla, baked potatoe and coleslaw. All prepared to pefection.
I ordered a side of coleslaw to go. Yes it was that good.

Food is ok, server was friendly but service poor. Food times(from places order to table) for this particular day and kitchen staff was just downright unacceptable. Atmosphere walking in: swatting at flies right away. A third of the tables empty with dining from previous people still on the tables(we cleared our own table).
Daughter liked the burger. Steak undercooked, but ok in taste. Hamburger steak came without the gravy and onions as ordered. In the time it took for the rest of her dish to come, I took a 14 minute business call, sat back down and was about one third into my own meal when server brought rest of the food.
Roughly 20 minutes passed, and after explaining the patty was now cold and fly ridden, she no longer wanted the hamburger steak plate, but chose to keep the gravy and onions after giving my baked potato offering.
The “cook” seemed to think whether we or the flies eat it, it should be paid for, and after trying to explain to myself(a former chef, not line cook) the time it takes to cook mushrooms(which was badly over calculated and clearly cooked to death), he took the hamburger steak plate, the plate my wife was eating from, and charges for the gravy and onions/mushrooms that she was trying to eat. Call me crazy but if you’re going to take what you’re charging someone for, they should change the pricing to a per bite basis!
Do yourselves a favor, drive back across to iron oar in riverdale. Way better service and food!

My food was not served the way I ordered it. It was cold and the flies in the place were all over my “hamburger steak” (soybean patty), which was missing gravy and onion. I waited for my gravy and waited 14 minutes for it to get to the table. Then the “cook” came out when I complained and said it was my problem it was wrong and when I said it was cold and covered in flies he said I should have covered it up. The food was bad. The service was weak. The tables were covered in dirty dishes and food. And I was charged e lot of money for the worst experience I have ever had in my life at what was hailed as an established family dining restaurant. If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Do yourself a favor and go to the Iron Ore. You’ll be glad you did.

Atmosphere not good at all. Some drunk old loser was in there tonight, my husband and I went to do some gambling just messing around driving through as we come up to pick city any time we can. We put 40$ in, and walking out my husband asked if I still wanted pizza. I said no because I was being considerate because I could tell they were about to close and I felt bad for everyone in the room having to deal with that drunk you-know-what. When we walked out the guy said “yeah they spent 40$ on the machines so they can’t AFFORD pizza.” Personally wouldn’t go back here again unless hubby wants to because of the crowd of people. When we walked in they all looked at us like we had two heads lol

Although the interior is interesting with whimsical signage and historic photos of nearby Garrison Dam, our eating experience was subpar. I ordered a burger with gluten free bun. My husband ordered a regular burger. We waited 45 minutes to be served while others who came after us at neighboring tables got their food before us. No apology from staff for the crazy long wait. We won’t be back.
