Food mood
Had a lovely birthday dinner at Littlefrench. Staff were so attentive and friendly. The scallops were delicious and buttery and almost sweet. The ceps came in a creamy garlic sauce, the sweet brioche paired so well with the savoury sauce. The lamb was perfectly tender and the sauce soubise was phenomenal. It was so buttery and just a hint of sweet from the onions. The duck breast was a good choice , meat was cooked perfectly , the figs pair really well with the dish and the rosemary potatoes as well. The alligot is definitely worth trying. It was rich and creamy and a good portion for two people. Absolutely loved the crème brûlée here , was perfectly balanced with a caramelised top and silky rich custard. A good indulgent meal for a special occasion. Would highly recommend.

Exquisit. Beyond 5 star. The food was beautiful presentation, portions, composition, texture and flavor. It felt Michelin star quality. I felt very lucky to have lunch here as a walk in on a Tuesday lunch time. The staff were accommodating and considerate to a single diner.

We came here for a celebratory meal and it was absolutely unforgettable. We enjoyed lobster, scallops, and razor clams — everything was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. It was our first time trying lobster, and the staff were so helpful and patient in guiding us through the experience, which made it even more enjoyable.

To finish, we had the crème brûlée, which was honestly out of this world.

A truly special evening and 1000% worth it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for exceptional food and warm, attentive service.

Fantastic independent restaurant in Westbury Park.
Came for the aligot (IYKYK) & was not disappointed! As a group of 5, every single dish was delicious. Rich in butter (it is French!), moreish & balanced flavours.
Service was fantastic, our waitress even spotted us outside & came out to take our photo.
The atmosphere, even on a Wednesday night, was great, the place was full with a lovely buzz.
Will be back!

A fantastic dining experience tonight. Everything that we ate was absolutely delicious; the aligot was a star due to my love of garlic and cheese!

The service was brilliant – our host, Stella, was friendly and attentive and also felt like they were authentic to themselves as well. There’s nothing better than when someone can let their personality shine through at work! A credit to the restaurant.

Will definitely be returning!

I’ve been meaning to visit this restaurant for a while, I absolutely love French cuisine and I’ve seen Little French featured on TV. Well what can I say, Freddie and his team have got it spot on, the food was delicious, beautifully presented and in my opinion well priced.
I ate Oysters Marrow bone steak tartare Halibut with Onion sauce and the Hispy cabbage with lashing of butter was top drawer.
Chocolate mouse to finish
I need a lay down
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Although I was alone this evening I felt very welcomed and I could have been in a bistro in France

Lovely dinner at Little French! Shared the guinea fowl, which was delicious! So nice to be able to order game! Ordered an extra side of Aligot. If you haven’t tried it, look it up and give it a go! Fabulous!

I’ve been trying to get back to littlefrench for sometime, so a business trip to Bristol gave the ideal excuse to stay on and visit for lunch.
The name provides a big clue as to the style of the menu and in practice it doesn’t disappoint.
We started by sharing some crispy pigs ears, before moving on to radish with cod’s roe (simple and tasty) and scallops (beautifully cooked with a delicious sauce).
For mains my partner had the lobster, which she says was pure bliss, whilst I had a fantastic flame grilled fillet,
Dessert was cherry and almond tart to die for.
There’s an excellent range of interesting and reasonably priced wines by the glass and an extensive list if you are buying by the bottle.
I’m going to need to find another reason to visit Bristol in the near future.

Me and my partner went at the end of Jan for our 2 year anniversary and then again on 7th Feb for my Birthday LOVED IT both times.

It 100% lived up to the hype. The food was fresh, hot and tasted fantastic.

The restaurant was clean and had a lovely ambience.

The staff were amazing. We ordered a hot chocolate which didn’t come and when we asked the lady supervisor, I think her name is Mia, she brought it out straight away and on the house!

We are already planning our return! X
