Parking: street parking or parking lot with some walking.

Restaurant: little rundown but still consider average cleanness.

Food: Came for dinner. Ordered special beef noodle, and crabmeat tomato noodle. Both are under $20s each, and portion is big enough for average adult. Each soup base is full of flavor, tasty, and savory. I personally consider each bowl’s meat level is above average across the bay area. What I mean is a lot of pho places only give you few thin slides of beef, but this place is not bad at all.

The food tasted OK at Little Vietnamese Bistro. There were two other parties when I ate here at 6pm on a Thursday night. Slow night. Food arrived shortly after I ordered. The chicken papaya salad $15 was drenched in fish sauce. It was a wet salad with a lot of nuts and shredded steamed chicken. The little pieces of crunchy dried garlic was a nice touch. It would have been nicer if there were more herbs like Thai Basil, cilantro or mint to make it more fragrant. The side of five spice chicken $7 looked dry, but it wasn’t. It was juicy inside with a light coating of spices. At other restaurants, the skin can be rubbery. Little Viet Bistro cooked this correctly.

You can order in Chinese. The staff spoke fluent Cantonese to customers and Mandarin among themselves. Good job everyone at Little Viet Bistro.

Lovely mom and pop Vietnamese restaurant, but with nicer decor and ambiance. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere as well. There’s always this one
middle-aged lady and younger lady that are always present on weekends when we go, and our experience has always been consistently good; fresh and tasty entrees with good portions. Not super attentive but very helpful when asked. Just the way we like it.

Our favorites are the noodle soups such as the spicy beef and pork noodle soup (bun Bo hue), and rice or vermicelli variations of five spice chicken beef or pork. They’re all fabulous! Go a few doors down to Societea Teahouse for dessert.

Great vegan options. Fresh, delicious food with friendly, fast service. Will definitely be back to try everything on the vegan menu! The vermicelli noodle salad with egg roll was exceptional!

Not your typical Vietnamese, extensive menu of unique noodle soups and rice dishes not seen at other restaurants. French-Vietnamese options available.

#21 Spicy Beef and Pork Noodle Soup comes with beef rib and pig feet. While tasty, the broth could have used more spice and lemongrass, less fish taste. #2 Shrimp Rolls came overstuffed with vermicelli and a peanut sauce lacking hoisin.

Overall, excited enough about the menu to come by and try again.

Excellent pho, noodles, and vietnamese entrees with many great options for vegans/vegetarians and meat-eaters. They serve generous portions and there are many things we didn’t get to try – so we will definitely go back again!
The staff was friendly and efficient.

Too lazy to cook, came here for dinner. Ordered two appetizers and two bowls of noodle soup. The meat of the egg roll was too salty. The 5 spice chicken roll only had 3 little pieces of meat. they used chicken broth for the pho. The crab meat & tomato noodle soup is the only dish done it right

Great new Vietnamese restaurant at a very affordable price! We had the spicy pork and beef noodle soup, shrimp salad, and springs rolls. Everything was delicious and filling! The noodle soup had an enormous piece of pork that coulve been a meal on its own! The staff was very friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

WOW, this place is a hidden gem! Casual mom-and-pop atmosphere and decor, affordable prices and HUGE portions! The bbq pork vermicelli bowl is phenomenal, they sauté the usual crushed peanut topping in garlic and sprinkle on fried crumbs from their egg rolls, it’s delicious! Also, the egg rolls are homemade and twice as big as the standard finger-sized one is you get elsewhere. We are definitely coming back.
