Some of the best Vietnamese cuisine you can find in Chicago! After a blistering snowstorm, pho is the perfect remedy. Upon entering this restaurant, we were warmly greeted by the kindest owner. The pho here is incredible, and the broth is so flavorful and soothing on a winter night. We also enjoyed the spring rolls, and the Thai tea is super rich and creamy. If you’re in Edgewater, do not miss out on Little Vietnam!

We absolutely loved our banh mi! We tried the meatball and the fried pork, and while both were delicious, I have to say the fried pork was my personal favorite. Our noodle bowl was also incredibly tasty. The food here is fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend.

After being denied due to a crazy long line for Paper Machete my friends and I decided to warm away our blues with some pho. We knew we could just go up the block to Argyle Ave but that also seemed to be pretty busy for a Saturday afternoon so we did a quick search and came across Little Vietnam just a little further north and drove that way.
It’s a great spot with a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes at reasonable prices. The combination pho I ordered had a nice broth with a decent amount of sliced meat and noodles. The shrimp spring rolls I ordered as an appetizer were also really good and I liked that all of the vegetables in the rolls and as toppings for the pho tasted crispy and fresh.
My friend ordered a pork banh mi along with his soup that looked really good and it was big enough that he was able to take half of it home for later.
The staff were very friendly. They did say that they could only take cash or Zelle payments at the time due to their card reader not working but that was not a problem for us. The inside has a very relaxed feel. Our waiter offered us a free fried banana dessert which was very appreciated. Next time I’d probably order some coffee to go with it.

Walked in here on a whim. Was served by the absolutely AMAZING Mimi, who made me and my friend absolutely laugh the entire time. Got the shrimp spring rolls and pork banh mi sandwich. She threw in an extra order of egg rolls for us as well. The bread was crisp, the pork flavorful. Will definitely be back!!!

I was visiting Chicago and this spot was a short walk from our Airbnb. We loved this place so much that we came twice for our visit. The pho is exceptional. Some of the best broth I’ve ever tasted! I had chicken pho and my partner loved their vegetarian options. The owner is so lovely and attentive and a joy to chat with. Please make sure to support her and this lovely establishment if you’re in the area. The perfect little spot to sit and enjoy a hot bowl of soup and watch the snow outside. And the Thai tea was incredible too! 10/10 experience!

This is one of my favorite spots in the city. The food is excellent, ingredients always fresh and comforting. The owner is a true delight. It feels a little bit like coming home, walking into Little Vietnam. Highly recommend this cozy, delicious spot for dine in or take out.

Awesome flavor with lots of depth on the salmon clay bowl, the fish paired nicely with the sides of vegetables. Great rich sauces to go with our 2 sides, the spring rolls and chicken skewers. Juicy and moist. Looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes.

They had some of the best vegetarian pho I’ve ever had, which is a lot for me to say!!! Went here twice during my stay in Chicago and can’t recommend it enough to my friends. The owner was also incredibly kind and sent us away with a new years gift. We will return next time we’re in town ✨

This is our new favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Egg rolls were flaky and fresh. The short ribs were tender and perfectly seasoned and the chicken salad was fresh with a delicious dressing. We will be back many times!
