This place is a good Japanese oasis in Pigeon Forge area.

We came for the hibachi and it was very good. They did all the fun tricks you’ve come to expect. The portions are LARGE. Every table took home food. Pricing was very reasonable and included a wonderful onion soup, a salad, fried rice, grilled veggies and your protein. The service was great. Our drinks were refilled several times. The sushi was good too. I forgot to take a picture of the hibachi meal. We were hungry and dug in. We will definitely come back.

Did not like the sushi. Pieces also too big to eat. Taste was bad. Tasted funky. Even the California roll was bland. Left half the sushi we ordered. See photos. Sorry wouldn’t recommend for a sushi spot if you’re in pigeon forge.

It’s good sushi for the area, pretty fresh and a decent selection.

Pretty good place. Don’t pull a stupid moment like us and think there is an upstairs to this place because if you do you’re on the back of the building that has other restaurants not the front. Lol it’s definitely a ground floor restaurant.

Make aure you go to the back of the building from main strip because locations is second floor and you can see it but have to go to the back for their front door. Got here early, around 4:30pm & didn’t get our plates food until 5:15pm. It was good food but a little long to wait after salad and soup that came quick. At 6pm there was 1 hour and a half wait. It’s a popular place.

Sushi was made poorly. Didn’t taste fresh. Didn’t try anything else, but sushi is a no go.

The service was a little rough, but the food was excellent. Our food came out quickly and piping hot. If the service was better it would have been an easy 5 stars. The server had to be flagged down after waiting the entire meal without refills though the restaurant was not very busy. She had an attitude throughout the entire meal any time a request was made even though our requests were minimal. I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but I really feel like they need to improve their wait staff. We did not do the hibachi area so maybe that experience is better.

What a complete and utter disappointment this place was. They only have 3 hibachi tables and only had 2 of them staffed. We opted to just sit at a regular table to avoid a 45 minute wait. The restaurant looks kind of dirty and run down. Service was worse than what you get at the neighborhood 10-minute chinese to-go places. Then the food came and it somehow got worse. The “soup” is just chicken broth with a few green onion pieces and some fried onion pieces (think green bean casserole topping). The “salad” was a little iceberg lettuce and a few small strips of carrot that had been absolutely drowned in some kind of sweet, watery, mostly-flavorless dressing that was supposed to be their ginger dressing. When the main courses came out, it didn’t get any better. The chicken was overcooked by about 5 minutes. The shrimp was cooked until it was practically rubber. The steak was cooked properly, but the only flavor on the meats was whatever cheap “teriyaki” sauce they doused all over the plate. The vegetables were cooked to the point they were mush and the fried rice was just rice and soy. About 3 bites in the server came back and asked if we wanted boxes. We all gave up after getting a few more bites in. The server came back and offered boxes again even though our plates were all over half full still. I said “no thanks, this wasn’t good enough to want to eat it twice”. She just said “okay, I’ll get the bill”. No questions, no apology, nothing. In sum: don’t waste your money here. The food is gross and the service is terrible.

Best hibachi in East Tennesse! Just make sure you get there early or call ahead as they have limited seating.
