Wow. Jennifer, our waitress, suggested a tempura shrimp roll along with a Dragon Egg. Both were fantastic. This is a much better experience than our first try when they first opened up. Jennifer was fantastic and provided great service. We loved the atmosphere and the meal. We didn’t know until afterwards that they have a beautiful outdoor seating that over looks a small pond This is definitely a place we will come back to again and again. Ask for Jennifer.

We’ve been wanting to try this new sushi spot in town. We all love sushi, hibachi, wasabi, pink sauce, and all the things Japanese. The restaurant is gorgeous. It used to be a Bonefish restaurant but they have really transformed the inside. We enjoyed seaweed salad, steamed gyoza, the salmon lover, a cucumber roll, a rainbow roll, Tuna Tartar Tokyo Style, steak hibachi, and smelt roe. The smelt roe wasn’t as spicy as I like but it was good. We will definitely be back.

I have been here twice so far. The interior is beautiful and inviting. The service has been friendly, if not a little disorganized. The first time, we ordered cocktails and sushi. I would recommend the lychee martini – it was sweet and fruity! As for vegan options, the three bean roll was unique and tasty. We will definitely be trying more of their sushi rolls in the future.

On our second visit I got the 14 course omakase (be sure to make a reservation in advance) for a special occasion, and it was a wonderful experience. Each bite was fresh and perfectly seasoned by the chef, who you can watch as he prepares your food. The chef was friendly and skillful, and I was highly impressed with the plating and the flavors! Some highlights for me were the scallop nigiri, eel hand roll, and the uni.

I wish I got more pictures, but I was so immersed in the experience that I kept forgetting to take them! At the end of the meal, I was full but not uncomfortably so. I would come here again for sure, especially for the omakase!

We had a great experience at Little Tokyo in Madison, MS. We ordered the kids chicken teriyaki bento, chicken tempura, and chicken hibachi, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-portioned. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the tempura was nice and crispy. The kids’ bento was a great size and very kid-friendly. Service was friendly and our order came out in a timely manner. Overall, a solid spot for Japanese food and a place we’d be happy to visit again.

My first impression enter the restaurant is amazing, very modern comfortable good looking and the bar is wonderfull, the food was okay, platting is amazing, but platting for beef tataki not tempting at all. my main concern is i ordered steak medium but they cooked it like jerky, and chicken at hibachi plate is so hard and chewy. sushi rice is cold, fish topping for the sushi roll so stingy, i barely taste the baked salmon. Make me think twice for coming back

We absolutely enjoyed our meal and the place is gorgeous. We got the Omakase which is a 14 course meal curated by the sushi chef with the best and freshes cuts of the day. It was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back!

I went to Little Tokyo last night and had an amazing experience. The sushi was delicious. It tasted fresh and looked amazing. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Everyone was very nice and our server was very sweet. If you’re looking for good sushi and hibachi, then definitely check this place out!

After reading the reviews, we were hesitant to go but decided to give it a try. Glad we did.

Carly our server was superb. Very friendly and efficient.

Sushi was excellent with nice presentation. Tempura was some of the best we’ve had. Light batter and not greasy.

Only suggestion for improvement would be to make tempura banana desert a bit larger and add vanilla ice cream.

Restaurant atmosphere is very nice and pleasant experience.

Will definitely be back!

Been twice since Little Tokyo in Ridgeland is one of our favorite restaurants. The first time was shortly after they opened and things were a little scattered and we ended up eating at the bar. Good food but service was a little off. So now a couple weeks later and service is great. Sat at a table and ordered drinks – tea for me and wine for my wife. Turns out the wine menu she ordered from was different than the wine menu they actually have since they compared the 2 and saw a wine they didn’t have. No problem but a little confusing that they have 2 wine menus. As far as food goes we ordered pan fried spinach gyoza and it was burnt slightly but edible. I ordered katsu don (pictured below) and the flavor was great but the pork was overcooked so dry and tough. Whereas I can usually bite pieces off, I really struggled with chewing off a piece.
