Fast and friendly service. We were the only ones here for most of our dinner on this cold snowy night. There was a far amount of food for the price. Unfortunately my shrimp was overcooked and very chewy. The rest was delicious.

we ordered the Miso soup, Crab rangoon’s, vegetable spring rolls, lobster roll, spicy crab roll, steak hibachi noodles, and fried rice. Everything was absolutely great! The food tasted delicious and the service was prompt and extremely friendly. Can’t wait to come back soon!

So excited to have a Japanese restaurant in town! The sushi was yummy, the kids teriyaki was really good, and the hibachi noodles were good. We really liked the pork rolls. I would recommend ordering 3 sushi rolls as 2 wasn’t quite enough (but then I had room for dessert! Cheesecake and Flan). We’re excited to see them continue to improve! Since they’ve only been open 3 weeks they were out of sprite and the tempura ice cream and their timing was a touch off with how busy they were. They’re obviously still in the process of decorating too. We’ll be back!!!

I am a first timer at this restaurant.

I have had take out from other places and wanted to try Little Tokyo out. I called to place a take out order, service was curtious. I did ask about the sizes fried rice comes in and was told that it is large and very filling.

Picked up my order in what was a to go container and not the traditional quart sized box you normally see at Chinese / Asain take out.

The food was good, but felt the steak appeared to be a bit too dry in the friend rice. I felt hungry after eating this, so based on the container size and portion size and not feeling full after, I feel for the cost,a bit high compared to the portion size was small. Normally quart sized containers leave me full or some left over after, but tonight had to have something additional.

I just do not feel portion size and price are comparable to other places. Therfore the basis of my feedback. I know of one place that is a bit less in price but plenty in the quantity. Did taste good however.

The food is excellent every time we order out from here. The chicken teriyaki, fried rice, and crab Rangoon are favorites of ours! Large portions and fair pricing for the quality.

Skip this place or try non-sushi options that other reviews recommend. I’m really missing the great Mexican restaurant that was here. This place is especially mediocre. I was so excited for my red dragon roll. I mean if I could design a roll it would be the red dragon roll. Unfortunately I took one bite and it was mushy, almost warm (definitely not cold), and worst of all, tasted fishy. I love eel and spicy tuna, but I really don’t care for sushi that tastes like old fish. I couldn’t eat more than a piece (it’s a $17 roll ). The salad was sub par too. It seemed like the lettuce was recently frozen and the dressing was not appetizing. The broth wasn’t great either. Nothing felt authentic. For my partner he said his tofu teriyaki felt raw, like they didn’t cook it, just put teriyaki sauce on raw tofu. Look, I should’ve known, sushi in Baraboo. But I recently had an amazing sushi experience in Fort Atkinson, so I was willing to give another small town sushi place a try. I felt okay after, but my partner got sick.

For 2 Japanese sodas, tofu teriyaki (comes with soup and salad), red dragon roll, and a house salad (and tip) the total ended up around 60 dollars. With a discount.

We came at a slow time of the day, but good service. Liked the atmosphere. Cute little hole in the wall restaurant. And was lucky enough to show up on their 1 year anniversary for being open and had 2 of their desserts which were very good. Didn’t break the bank to get an appetizer and extra sides

This was some of the best Japanese food I’ve had. The miso soup and miso ramen were amazing, and the chicken hibachi was even better. I had wished the tamago wasn’t spicy, since I had that for dessert, but it was also very good.

The dumplings, sushi, and hibachi noodles were delicious. The restaurant was quick, the food was hot, and it was quality food for half of what you’d pay in Madison. The server even saw me struggling with my soda and told me how to open it. Haha. I can’t recommend this place enough. Please help keep it in business, it’s so stinking good.
