I highly recommend the Little Thai Elephant for anyone looking for an authentic and flavorful meal. The food is absolutely delicious, with every dish bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. Beyond the menu, their online ordering system is excellent—it is intuitive, fast, and makes the entire process incredibly convenient. Best of all, it is run by a fabulous local family whose pride in their business and community really shines through. It’s a wonderful local gem that is well worth supporting!

I love this place because they will actually make hot, spicy food if you request it. There are other great Thai restaurants in town but most places really dial down the spice level, even when I specifically ask for “one level below Thai-level spice” which, I realize, isn’t to most people’s taste, but I really appreciate that Little Thai Elephant respects the request. Wonderful.

If you’re looking for authentic and delicious Thai food in Eugene, this is the place to go! Little Thai Elephant is a family-run food truck based on the recipes of the most popular Thai restaurant in Newport. After visiting today, I can say they have incredible food as well as superb Thai iced tea!!

I love pad kee mao and Little Thai Elephant has the best version I’ve ever tried! It was savory, spicy, full of fresh vegetables, and the tofu was cooked perfectly! Yum!! We also tried the spicy basil fried rice which was equally amazing. The Thai iced tea was insanely good and I’m looking forward to trying the coffee. The spice level is authentic, so choose wisely

I can’t wait to try more of the menu. They have plenty of vegetarian options and even a gluten-free menu, so there’s something for everyone. Thank you, Little Thai Elephant, for bringing the best Thai experience to Eugene!!

If I could give ten stars I would! I’ve had four dishes here and they were all very much the best tasting Thai food I’ve been able to find. Especially here in the area. Flavor is amazing, spice is no joke. I’d recommend grabbing a Thai iced tea for after. Makes for a perfect meal from beginning to end. Delish!

Little Thai Elephant is a little slice of tasty cuisine! My favorite Thai dish is Pad See Ew and I love coming here for it! The staff is very friendly and the service was fast! I’m excited to come back again soon. 🙂

Amazing Thai food at Little Thai Elephant cart here at Oakshire. The menu and service is first class and spice level of the food is perfect (low to super hot). Support a local restaurant and owner. Highly recommend!

The food is good and tasty with generous portions. Pad Thai is really good, however I wouldn’t recommend the Pad See Ew — they use a thinner flat noodle instead of the wide one, and despite asking for Thai spicy I’ll be really mild. The texture too is not chewy and bouncy. Apart from that one let down, most other food was tasty.
Paired with an IPA is a recipe for a great evening.

The BEST Thai food and customer service in town! Haven’t found a place that beats Little Thai Elephant’s quality, quantity or customer service since moving to Oregon. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Ordered Pad Kee Mao. Noodles tasted strongly like latex gloves. Someone definitely dropped a glove in the noodle vat. When I took it back to the cart the worker said “oh yeah some people say that about the noodles”. So if you’re into thai food that tastes more like latex gloves than actually edible food made for people with a sense of taste, this is the spot!

Edit: Since I’m not allowed to reply directly to the owner’s response, I have to do this edit. No, what I was tasting was not authentic Thai ingredients, I was tasting latex. I’ve been to many many Thai restaurants and latex has never been an authentic ingredient in any of them. Plus the employees said it was the noodles that tasted that way and you’re saying it’s the spices now, so which one is it? Yes, you are right, they did remake it for me, but that was only after I had to have a back and forth for a while about how bad the food was and they were like “so what do you want us to do about it?”. I certainly never said I “loved” it after they made me an entirely different dish (I wasn’t about to order something with the same noodles). I said it was “fine”, which was to say it tasted like actual food rather than latex gloves, which is a pretty low bar considering you’re supposed to be serving edible food. I’ve never left a review this long, but as a fellow business owner I hate it when other business owners can’t just take responsibility for their products and instead try to gaslight their customers to save face. Stop trying to paint a narrative that isn’t true and own your mistakes. 0/5 Stars

Do yourself a favor and don’t get the pad Thai. The sauce had a very overwhelmingly tomato taste to it. First pad Thai that I haven’t been able to eat a whole dish. Struggled to eat more than a 1/4 of it due to how much it tasted like tomato sauce / ketchup.
