My pineapple fried rice came with extra seasoning in the form of A COCKROACH!!!!! they should have stuck with actual seasoning because the food is bland at best. The chicken was dry and chewy, and the pineapple, though obviously canned, tasted old as well. I know this because unfortunately, I ate a few bites before noticing the roach. Didn’t see any roaches in the drunken noodles, but they’re nasty and flavorless as well and so did not get eaten, which is a relief because although I’m currently starving, I would sooner dumpster dive for food than eat anything this place is serving. Unbelievable. Nasty food and a roach infestation so bad that one was stir fried into my food…how could it get any worse?? I’m completely traumatized and disgusted. This place needs to be shut down.

We had no idea she opened another store and its only 6 miles away. We love the Little Spice restaurant in Hanover Maryland so this is exciting. If you love Thai food, you’d better come check this out.

Massaman curry was excellent, as was the spring roll which came with the lunch entree. Was here with 9 co-workers and we all enjoyed it. The three people seated closest to me all ordered drunken noodles and said it was good. There is a sign which said, “no public restroom”, so I docked one atmosphere star for that.

We went on a Friday at 6 pm. Nice quiet vibe.

We tried the catfish in peanut sauce, which was delicious. The green curry was terrible!! The shrimp salad was good. The soup was okay but had stale hard pieces of chicken in it which ruined the flavor.

Our server seemed a bit annoyed and rushed for some reason, but we got our food pretty fast.

So happy to have found a great Thai spot near us. The food was so fresh and and reasonably priced. It’s a very welcoming, clean, and warm environment and I especially appreciated that there was no music blaring. My boyfriend and I were greeted by the wonderful owner who is just the sweetest and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meals. She truly is a kind woman with such a bright personality. This place is a must try, and we will be sure to return! (Pictured: shrimp cakes, shrimp spa, seafood pad Thai, and chicken drunken noodles) we also got two Thai teas to go 🙂

Deliciously authentic Thai cuisine! I still can not believe how good everything is. I have attached a picture of their Pineapple Thai Fried Rice with Chicken & Shrimp. The lady who is there in the evenings is always very friendly & helpful too! This will be a regular place for me.

Hadn’t had Thai in forever. The old classics, such as drunken noodles and curries, are quite delicious. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals.

This is a blink and you will miss it spot. A little hole in the wall in Owings Mills that is absolutely worth it! I’m a big fan of Thai food and this is easily some of the best I have had. I started with the papaya salad and its taste and texture were perfect. A great balance of spice and flavor. The two little grilled shrimp paired nicely with the citrus undertones of the dish. I got pad see ew with chicken as my entree and for the first time I couldn’t finish the whole plate. It was incredibly flavorful and everything blended well together. Both dishes had a small amount of spice but nothing that should deter calmer palettes. There was only one waiter at the time I went in but she was amazing. Left you alone long enough but was attentive to make sure you didn’t ever end up lacking. If you want great Thai food I cannot recommend this place enough!

THIS IS OUR NEW GO TO THAI PLACE!! Everything thing we ate was insanely delicious!! We even did take out and sometimes, the food is just not as good when you take it home. Well, THIS FOOD IS! We are spring rolls, Bangkok Steak, green and yellow curry and we could eat this every night. My favorite is the Bangkok steak!! And the spring rolls were amazing.

I was greeted like an old, dear friend as soon as I walked in too. Everything about this restaurant is 5 STARS!!!

Little Spice – Owings Mills Review

Little Spice in Owings Mills is a charming spot with a lot to offer, but I’d have to agree—it leans more toward Chinese flavors than Thai cuisine, despite the name suggesting otherwise. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s worth noting if you’re going in expecting a purely Thai experience.

The menu offers a mix of both Thai and Chinese dishes, but the Chinese-inspired options definitely steal the show. The General Tso’s Chicken, Lo Mein, and Kung Pao dishes are flavorful and well-executed, with generous portions that make it great for sharing or taking leftovers home. The Pad Thai and Green Curry, while decent, lack the authentic depth of flavor you might find at a dedicated Thai spot.

Service is friendly and efficient, and the restaurant itself has a cozy vibe, making it a good place for casual dining. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes ensure you get your money’s worth.

If you’re craving Chinese food with a hint of Thai influence, Little Spice is a solid choice. However, if you’re looking for authentic Thai cuisine, you might want to explore other options. It’s a great neighborhood spot for what it offers, but it’s definitely more of a Chinese restaurant in spirit.
