⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was my first visit to Little Sister, and it definitely won’t be the last! A five-star experience from beginning to end. Delicious Puerto Rican specialties reimagined for brunch, amazing service (shout out to Andraea!), and a cool vibe. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to see many veggie-friendly dishes on the menu! I had the Mofongo Benedict (with eggs poached well, by request), a guava quesito pastry, and the passion fruit punch. My tastebuds are still thanking me!
TIP: If you want to guarantee a seat, make sure to make a reservation ahead of time. It gets pretty busy, and trust me, you do not want to miss out on this delicious food!

This is absolutely one of the best meals I ever had which is saying something because I’ve eaten across Europe, Turkey, and North America. Their homemade shakshuka was so rich and flavorful and they bottle it and sell it along with an assortment of honemade jams and hot sauces. The service was fantastic. It took a bit to get our food (which is normal for shakshuka) and they bought us cookies for our wait. It was also a beautifully decorated cafe. Highly recommend.

Little Sister is an absolute standout from start to finish. Having a little piece of Puerto Rico on the East Side of Providence is such a blessing! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warmth that reminds me of my Latino roots. The food was DELICIOSO. The Mofongo Benedict is my favorite, the pernil takes me back to growing up with my cousin who is half Puertorrican, and her mom would cook for us. It’s perfectly seasoned! Y el cafecito?! Top tier. As a Colombiana myself, coffee is something you just don’t skimp on, and Little Sister delivers.
This restaurant feels like an extension of home, and I love how Milena, the owner, just beams with pride having the opportunity to share a little piece of her home, La Isla del Encanto.
If you love to support local or looking to experience Puertorrican cuisine for the first time, this is the place to go. ¡Super recomendado!

Considering we were walk-ins at the start of brunch hour, the 3 of us got sited quickly. It’s very very small…prospective, if 20 are dinning, the place’s packed! I say make reservations for sure. Food was good but over priced. $24 for an egg cheese w/avocado, tomato on brioche w/a side of salad or home fries. The 3 of us got sandwiches and 1 drink each and 1 app. With tip, almost $140. Most expensive brunch I’ve ever had.
Good atmosphere and lovely waitress too.

Food was good and well seasoned. Portions are smaller for the price point. The drinks were good. Dulce de Leche french toast was too sweet with too many dressings. Mofongo with pernil was good. Empanadas were great and had a good amount of filling in the flaky crust. The variety of hot sauces were delicious. Not accommodating for larger groups, and children or babies. The place is very small for a brunch spot. They limit you for a 1 hour brunch. Before sitting down we were told our table needed to be given up in 45 minutes since our reservation was for 11 and we were all seated at 11:15. This made brunch feel like a rushed experience for everyone. Service was not that great. They kept missing things, didn’t provide enough plates, and forgot to give us a cardamom knot. They provided the cardamom knot to go and when having it at home, it was hard and a bit burnt. We made this reservation for my friend who came from out of town for her birthday. The birthday notation in the reservation was not at all acknowledged. There are too many things in fine print for this restaurant reservation that make this feel like it could have been a better experience overall.

I had a horchata latte and mofongo Benedict with slow roasted pork. I always heard good reviews, but I was not ready for how wonderful it would all be.
It’s a cozy spot, but not crowded. We were so well taken care of. My only regret is not coming here sooner.

The food was good! Pretty salty but it may have been just a one off thing. Will definitely return to try again. The brunch sangria was amazing, horchata latte was delicious, and the prix fixe was a great deal to do with a group to taste many items they offer. The ambiance was my favorite part of the experience!

I’ve been trying to take the 3 hour drive to visit the area for years. I wanted to sight see but most importantly check out Little Sister. As a longtime friend of the owner’s older sister, it was on my list of things to do if I ever visited Rhode Island. This place did not disappoint. The food was amazing, the service was top notch and the salsa music in the background was the icing on the cake. The guava quesito I had was YUMMY!! I was sad that I did not get to meet Milena in person but I will definitely be back.

10 out of 10, wholeheartedly recommend!
We booked a “Bubbles” wine tastings, and it was my first wine tasting ever so I was a bit nervous but Milena, the owner, made the whole experience super friendly, very approachable, and overall a fun experience! Milena showcased a wide variety of wines and provided thorough but unpretentious explanations for each of them. It felt like we had guidance but in a relaxed and inviting manner.
The atmosphere was very convivial and laid back, the food was super tasty – vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free friendly, the service was attentive and casual. The vibes were both ideal for a romantic date or a girls night.

The food and drink were phenomenal – truly. Absolutely zero complaints there. However, there is no ventilation in here and the restaurant is so smokey that my eyes and my partners eyes burned throughout the entire meal and I had a hard time breathing. Additionally, I know it’s busy, but the owner (I think?) was drinking behind the counter (which cool, whatever) while we waited and waited to have our check given to us and then rung up. I don’t mind a laid back, family-style environment but if we’re sitting at a counter with a pile of dirty dishes in front of us for 10+ minutes waiting on a check, I would hope it would be because they’re slammed and not because they’re drinking and chatting and not communicating with each other about who needs what. $120 for brunch is harder to justify when the service isn’t up to par with the food…
